You woke up with a plaster around your face again.
Each cell of my heart pained.
"It is okay. You can let down your defense once in a while.
I know the world is cruel. We fight many duels throughout our time."
"It's all good, you can lay off the hood.
You don't have to shut me out. I am here if you want to be heard out."
I wanted to say, but I couldn't.
Knowing how my pulses could give up on me.
Because there was a time when I was her.
And there was a time when someone said these words.
