( ╥ω╥ )another good thing to know and prepare for is that as of now the ubers match is not done yet, so i might pause the plot until it's done and write oneshots while i wait.

FULLY REWRITTEN: SEPTEMBER 4TH 2024 (THANKS SO MUCH RIKA FOR HELPING ME THIS CHAPTER!)

The next morning, I was quick to remind Kurona of his promise to let me braid his hair. Fortunately, he agreed without protest, and together we made our way to the shared bathrooms. The rest of the boys were just beginning to stir, still groggy from sleep.
After brushing our teeth and washing our faces, I guided Kurona to a nearby chair and instructed him to sit still. He had to tilt his head slightly upward so I could reach his hair more easily. I couldn't help but smile at how considerate he was being.
As I ran my fingers through his soft, red hair, I began to unravel the braid he had worn yesterday, watching the strands spring back into gentle curls. His hair was thick, yet smooth, and it was clear that the constant braiding had left it with a natural wave.
"Your hair is really nice," I hummed, fingers deftly twisting the strands into a new braid.
Kurona's cheeks flushed a soft pink as he murmured a shy "Thank you." He averted his gaze, clearly embarrassed. "And... um... you're really good at braiding."
"It's nothing special," I replied with a smile, tying off the braid. "But it looks so cute on you! I love it."
He glanced up at me through his bangs, his blush deepening. "T-Thank you..."
He really is adorable!
The door to the bathroom opened and closed, but I paid it no mind, too focused on the bashful boy in front of me. Kurona seemed to find our proximity a bit overwhelming, his eyes darting away from mine after only a few seconds of contact. I might have felt the same if I weren't so absorbed in the task at hand.
Suddenly, Kurona's smile faded, his gaze shifting to someone behind me. Alarmed, I turned around, my eyes widening in surprise as I came face to face with Kaiser. He stood there, exuding his usual confidence, a slight smirk playing on his lips as he cocked an eyebrow.
"Braiding his hair, are we?" Kaiser asked, his tone a mix of amusement and curiosity.
"Yeah, what's it to you?" I shot back, narrowing my eyes. "What are you even doing here? You usually use the other bathrooms to avoid running into us."
"I came looking for you," he replied, his blue eyes sparkling with mischief. I could see the corner of his lip twitch upward, and I had to resist the urge to scoff. Was annoying me really that entertaining for him? I prayed this wouldn't become a morning ritual.
