Chapter 7

(Y/N pov)

As Daryl and i walk back to the farm, we go out separate ways he goes to see carol and I meet up with Glenn and Maggie

' did you find me some flour' I ask with smile on my face

' yeah I did' Glenn says with an even bigger smile on his face, I look at his face 'he can't be this excited about me making a damper (Australian outback bread) a something must have happened between him and Maggie, I mean his shirt is insideout

' awesome, hey Maggie can I borrow a mixing bowl and spoon' I ask

' thank you im just gonna change then I come inside' I tell her, she nods and watched her, I turn around and look at Glenn

' You had sex, didn't you' I say bluntly, he turns around and looks at me with wide eyes, while I look at him with an amused smile

'H-h-how did you know' he stutters

' well other than the fact that you shirts is inside-out, you can't be that excited im making a damper, now I need to change, ca you light a fire and get some hot coals read for me please' I ask, he blushed with a smile on his face a nodded his head as I disappeared into our tent I said loud enough for him to hear

' at one of us is getting a root (Aussie slang for sex)' I hear him laugh and change into my shorts and thongs (flip-flops)

I leaving the tent and grab the self rasing flour and camp oven and make my way into the house and walk to the kitchen she hands me a bowl and a spoon and started making the damper

After i had finish the damper I put it in the camp oven and washed all the dishes, as I was finishing Rick walk out with a small boy next to him, he wasn't wearing a shirt and I could see the bandage around his 'this must be Rick and Lori's son carl'  I thought to my self

I pick the camp oven up and walked around the bench, watching as he walked next to his dad

'You must be carl' I say with a smile on face, He and Rick look up at me

'Who are you' he ask

'I'm Y/N, just got here this morning im friend of Glenns' I pause and think for a sec ' well that's kind of a lie, he's my best friend, practically my brother' I say looking at him

'Oh' was all he said

'I must say for a kid that's not long been shot and had surgery, you must be superman or something, cause if that were me I still be in bed sobbing like a little girl' I say to him with a smirk and I see a smirk growing on his face

(Ricks pov)

I stand beside carl, and watch as Y/N interacts with carl, I guess Glenn was right she dose have a soft spot for kids, I hear her say something about him being superman and I look down at him and see this smile appear on his face, Im so happy to see that is been hard with every thing that's going on,

'What are you making' I hear carl ask, I look up to see that camp oven I her hand

'I'm making something to go with dinner' she replies

' can I have some' carl ask getting excited

'If you come to dinner and it ok with you parent, but I better get this on the fire or it won't cook in time, and if that doesn't happen, well Glenn is going have a fucking melt down' she says with a smile on her face, which inturn causes carl to laugh

'I'll care you later carl' she says while walking to the door

'Later, Y/N' he shouts, he looks up at me and says

'I like her' with a smile in his face, I just smile down at him and a start walking again

(Y/N pov)

I walk outside to see Glenn has my hot coals ready, so I put the camp oven on the hot coals I grab a shovel and put some on top so that it will cook through , im about to sit down when I see a gituar not being use, I look to Glenn and said

'Hey Glenn, can I' I asked nodding my head towards gituar and smiles at me and says

'Good ahead' i grab the gituar and sit down next to him and start playing Brother by Kodaline

I was now crying and I could hear Glenn crying too, I put down the gituar and wrapped Glenn in a hug and we both cry into each other's shoulders,

'I dont care if I have to move Mountains or kill an intire herd of walkers, I will always find you' I say softly into his ears

' I may not be able to move Mountains or kill a herd of walkers but I would definitely climb a mountain and sneek around a herd' he says while laughing which cause me too laugh as well

' it seems your sing caught the attention of some people' he says, cause me too look pull back a look  behind me and see everyone looking at us and a smile creeps up on my face, every soon moves and starts getting dinner ready
