(Y/N POV)

Dinner was final ready, the damper still need a bit more time so we dished up dinner which was some cooked cans of mixed vegetables, cornbeef that Hershel kindly gave us, and some gravey, I was so glad I made some damper, we had just finished serving when Glenn look at me with a smile and excitement in his eyes

'Is it done yet ive been hanging for this but everything i made it didn't turn out to good' he ask, I roll my eyes and give him my plate, I notice some of the other were looking a me and Glenn with confusion, I get up and walk over to the camp oven and use tea towels to take the top off, I checked the damper and it was ready

'It ready, just let me cut it up' I said to Glenn, who looked like he was ready to bounce off the walls, I grab the knife and chopping i asked Maggie for earlier I sat down and put the board flat on the grass and tip the camp over upside down and the damper fell out onto the chopping board, I felt eyes on me so I look up at everyone  and smile as I see all the confusion in there eyes

' umm, y/n what is that' Rick as curiously, I look up at him with a smile

'Its a damper said while cutting the damper in half, then turn it around to cut it up into smaller parts so there is enough for everyone

' a what' Rick ask again with confusion, I turn to face Glenn

'They don't know where I'm originally from do they' he shakes his head at me

' I thought you live next to Glenn in Michigan' Rick still confused

'I did but I wasn't born in the USA I have a dual citizenship' I look at rick

'Tell you what I'll give you a hint I have blue eyes and blond hair, I  wear singlet, shorts and thongs, think about the words I say and the way I talk, think about all that while I give out the damper cause Glenn is about to burster firecracker' infinish and walk over to Glenn and hand him a piece and went around and offered some to the rest, once every one had a piece, I sat back down next to Glenn and looked at Rick who still sat there in confusion

' you im really disappointed in you Rick, didn't you use to be a cop, like isnt it your job to profile people or something' I say with a smirk  at him

' it is but I've had other thing to worry about' he says look at carl

'Tell you what, since im feel generous ill just tell you, I was born in Australia, my family and i moved here the summer before starting  year 11 which is your junior year, anyway I was sitting in my drive way, lost in thought when this skinny Asian kid came over and said hello to me and we sat and talked for hours and we spent alot of time together through the summer and we went to school together and after I lost my parent, I moved to Atlanta with him, and lived there with him, he work as a pizza boy as you may know and I worked as a waitress, so that pretty much me' I finishes

Everyone looked at me, everyone looked like they had a million questions for me, but carl was the first to ask

'Australia that means you had those animals that bounce on 2 legs  umm, umm what are they called' he ask trying to figure it out, before I could help him he shouted out

'Kangaroos, that's what I was thinking of, is it true that Australia's use them as transport, you get in there pouches and that how you get around' he said with a big smile on his face with all the adults starting to laugh

'Oh yeah, I had one and i named it Skippy' I say with a smirk on my face he saw through it and starts laughing

'You don't ride them do you' he as still laughing

'No we don't but I can you tell you all about Australia, starting with the slang, Aussies are real lazy with there speech, so instead of calling me an Australian, you Y/N is an Aussie, and as for Kangaroos we call them roos or Skippy's, our way of greeting especially out in the country isn't hello or hey, it G'day mate' i finish, before carl can say anything Glenn pipes up and say
