Gajeel watched Jose destroying Fairy Tail's HQ with a blank expression. He didn't get why all of its members were crying. It was as if Jose destroyed a part of themself while it was just a building. If someone annihilated their HQ Gajeel wouldn't care at all but then again there weren't a lot of things he could still care about in his state.

He hoped his little fairy wouldn't be affected too much by her guild's disappearance. He could ask Jose to let her join Phantom Lord but he didn't want to. She would be in danger here and with time she would see what kind of monster he truly was. No, it was better if she stayed at Fairy Tail, even if they were enemies.

"Gajeel? Will you be okay? Tototmaru told Juvia about the blue-haired Fairy Tail wizard..." His friend said with a pained expression.

Most of their guildmates were already on the battlefield but Juvia stayed by her friend's side when she noticed how sad and hurt he looked. Jose obviously hit him again...

Gajeel changed a lot from the first time Juvia saw him. They were both kids when they first met and at this time Gajeel was constantly searching for his dad but he still cared about things and tried to have a better life. He told her about dragons' packs and how much he needed to find his dad. She didn't understand it at first but when he started to crave another dragon's presence to the point of his body got covered in metallic scales it became more clear.

Gajeel started to get into some kind of crisis where he didn't care about anything. One day he told her it was like having a hole inside you that you couldn't fill no matter how much you tried.

She tried to fill that hole but it didn't work out the way she hoped. Totomaru tried to help her but failed as well. Gajeel was grateful to them but even with that, it was still hard for the young dragon slayer.

When Jose noticed that the dragon slayer he brought from the mountains was more manipulable he took advantage of it. Now Gajeel was feared by all the guild and treated like an animal. He stopped searching for his father and when Juvia mentioned him to her friend he was just shrugging as if he didn't care anymore. In fact, he didn't care about a lot of things anymore...

When she heard from the guard of Jose that Gajeel was protective of one of the Fairy Tail wizards it made her smile. Perhaps it would be a new start for her friend, she hoped he could get away from this horrible place one day.

"Yeah. Don't worry about it it's nothing. Master Jose asked us to fight Fairy Tail and that's exactly what I'm going to do." Gajeel said with a determined expression before he left her alone in the main hall.

Juvia frowned as she refused to let this sprout of life get destroyed by Jose like before. She wouldn't let him hurt her friend like that again. She was going to save him even if it was the last thing she would do in her life.

So with a determined expression, she left the main hall looking for a Fairy Tail wizard. It was better to get over this stupid and useless war, only caused by her master's anger before dealing with Gajeel's problem.

She went outside ready to fight any opponent that would dare to penetrate their HQ despite the attack of Jose's shadows. Some of the Fairy Tail wizards already tried to get in; she could see Sol fighting against a man with white hair and a shirtless man turning his back to her. Big mistake.

Grey dodged at the last second a surprise attack coming from behind. A woman was looking at him with a surprised expression, she had an umbrella and blue hair. She didn't expect he could dodge the shoot obviously.

He didn't care if his opponent was a man or a woman, the only thing that mattered now was that she attacked Fairy Tail. Preparing himself for battle he looked at his enemy intensively, trying to foresee her next move.
