Anaya's POV

"Talking Tom!" Exclaimed Aishu.

"Tom and Jerry!" I retorted.

"Mumma please!! Talking Tom!!"

"Betu please!! Tom and Jerry!!"

{Betu - Child in a loving way}

We both were fighting over the TV remote. It was Saturday night so after a movie night yesterday, today is a cartoon night. And I won't watch that Talking Tom! She wouldn't watch Tom and Jerry!

"Okay, Doraemon!" We both exclaimed together and then burst out laughing.

"Okay my Doraemon! Come here!!" I spoke in childish voice while cuddling Aishu.

We put on Doraemon on the TV and started watching it while having popcorn and cold drink while cuddling. We both love cuddles.

*****

We were on today's 4th episode when I heard soft snores. I moved my head only to see Aishu all coiled up in my arms and sleeping soundly.

I immediately turned off the TV and lifted her in my arms. I walked towards her room, tucked her in her bed properly, gave a good night peck on her forehead and moved out.

Coming to the living room, I started packing up things which were scattered while we were watching cartoons.

While I was cleaning, I heard the door bell ring. Huh?

Who could be here at this hour?

Nevertheless, I went to see who's there. I peeped from the peephole and oh! It's Abhi.

But what is he doing here at this hour?

Is there an emergency?

Does he need any help?

Is he in trouble?

I shrugged off these meaningless thoughts and opened the door.

As soon as the door was wide open, Abhi waddled towards me and hugged me by calling out, "Anu..."

Who is Anu now?

Wait!

He gave me a pet name?

His voice was slurry, he was waddling and I can smell... Alcohol!?

He is drunk!

Why is he here when he's drunk? Aishu is here as well... Thank God she's sleeping!

But, he should not drink at the very first place and if he does, he should only till he can tolerate.

Before I could say anything he shifted and closed the door and then sat on the floor next to sofa. He didn't even say anything after calling 'Anu' which I don't know if it's really my pet name or someone else's name.
