Anaya's POV

Secret relationship can be more adventurous as well as can give a little too much nervousness.

How do I know this? The answer is that I've been experiencing it since one whole month!

Abhi and I decided to tell Aishu on her birthday. But we didn't even tell anyone else. First one to know about us would be Aishu, then everyone else.

Her birthday is coming next Saturday.

By each passing day, she grows more excited and I grow more and more nervous. I just hope she will be happy about it.

I sigh.

Sitting in the office but having thoughts about anything but work is the situation in which I've been finding myself since a fortnight. Physically present and mentally absent. But that isn't good for me.

I shook my head and got back to work.

Not even five minutes later, Kanika comes to my cubicle and stares at me. I then gave her a look with a raised eyebrow and she giggled.

"Don't do that girl! You don't know how to..." She continued laughing while walking towards my side.

"What's the reason behind your sudden appearance when in the break time you were complaining that you have a lot to do?" I questioned looking her while she gave me a sheepish smile.

"Will you join us today? Actually we are planning to go for a movie..." She asked.

"Umm... How about Saturday night? Actually I have plans with Aishu She has been demanding to go to the fair lately..." I actually told her the half truth. I have plans with Aishu as well as with Abhi.

I thought she might get angry as the last time as well I denied as Aishu had a fever. Although it was mild, I couldn't risk it. But I got an unexpected reaction. She smiled instead of frowning.

"I knew it! So we will be going on Saturday. But no one else. Just us time. It has been so long since we had a good bestie hang out..." She said that last line while pouting.

I chuckled and nodded in a yes. Indeed it has been long since we hung out.

"Mumma let's go on that na..." Aishu whined while pointing at the giant wheel and tried to pull me.

"Okay baba! Wait, let your Abhi uncle come, then we will go." I said and she beamed with joy.

After a while Abhi returned with two cotton candies in his hand. He handed one to Aishu and the other one to me. "Are you not having it?" I asked while having a bite from it.
