Chapter 40: Who Is Shane?

RYAN'S POV

When we arrive to the Grigori's residence pinaakyat muna ni tito si Mell sa kwarto nya para makapag pahinga saglit at para ma familiarize narin sya sa place.

Sa home nya.

Gusto ko sana syang puntahan para maka-usap but I know better, she needs to rest.

"Guys, dito na kayo matulog you two," turo ni Rey sakin at kay Mark "Can have your own rooms or gusto nyo sa room ko nalang. Meron naman akong sofa-bed so what do you guys prefer?" Tanong ni Rey samin.

"Okay lang ako sa kwarto mo but... Is he okay tho?" Turo sakin ni Mark so tinignan nila akong dalawa.

I frowned at them, "What?" Tanong ko.

"You look like you'd rather be stuck with Mell that us." Asar ni Mark

I grab the nearest pillow and throws it at him, "Get your mind out of the gutter Mark."

Tinawanan lang ako ni Mark, "Seriously tho, hayaan mo muna si Mell. She doesn't need to enter a relationship right now, wala pa nga syang masyadong na-aalala eh." Sabi sakin ni Rey.

"I was just making her feel better awhile ago, geez. And I know Rey, di naman ako ganun ka selfish." I almost said in a sarcastic voice.

"As long as you understand." Sabi ni Rey.

"Boys, dinner's ready." Tawag ni tita mula sa kitchen.

Tumayo na kaming tatlo and papunta na sa kitchen, "Rey can you check on your sister? If she's awake call her down if not let her rest." Utos ni tito.

Nag nod si Rey and pinuntahan si Mell habang kaming dalawa ni Mark umupo na, after a couple of seconds bumalik na sya and told us na nakatulog sya.

Kumain na kami ng dinner then after that pumunta sa kwarto ni Rey since dun nalang kaming tatlo matutulog para di sayang sa sheets and para daw mabantayan ako ni Rey.

I'm not stupid to try something on Mell, hello! Andito ako sa bahay nila, her dad is here. So what could I possibly do? Unless of course, if I have a death wish.

11 p.m na and si Mark hindi parin tapos mag shower habang si Rey nag lalaro na ng COC (clash of clans) and gustong, gusto ko ng maligo.

Pagod na ko eh, gusto kong magpahinga so ginamit ko muna yung banyo sa kabilang kwarto. Did my thing and I was done after a minute or so, sinuot ko na yung boxer na pinahiram ni Rey pati narin yung shirt nya.

Lumabas ako ng room and was heading back to Rey's when I saw Mell at her door looking all gorgeous.

Whoa... She looks good with that night dress.

"Hey." She greeted,

"Hey back." I smiled at her and stop in front of her, hindi nya ko tinitignan sa mata so I guess that she's nervous?

"What's up? Okay ka lang ba? How's your rest? Anything came back to you yet?" Please sana wag tungkol kay Shane, please.

"Just some childhood memories I guess... Anyway... I was thinking..." She said.

"Go on." Sabi ko.

"Would you... Uhm... Would you like to go out with me?" Tanong nya.

Medyo natulala ako dun.

What? Ano daw?

Go out? Go out?!

"Mell sigurado kabang okay ka lang?" Tanong ko and she nod, "Listen you don't have to force yourself, nagbibiro lang ako kanina. Take your time Mell, andito lang ako I won't go anywhere I promise." Ngiti ko sakanya
