SHANE'S POV

Bumalik na ko sa kitchen, sinabe ko nalang na may kausap sa phone si Melissa sa garden kaya di ko pa sya natawag.

Then after a couple of seconds sinamahan na nya kami sa kitchen.

"How are you feeling baby?" Tanong ni tita,

"A lot better than the first time I woke up." She smiled.

Di mawala sa isip ko yung sinabe nya kanina, and I can't stop smiling.

And I shouldn't be smiling! I promised to myself I'll give my relationship to Katie a one more chance... But that was for Melissa also.

Nahihirapan na sya and I was so sure she didn't have any feelings for me but then... I heard it clearly from her lips.

"Someone looks happy." Napansin ni tita yung shit-eating-grin ko, "A smile like that could only be caused by a girl. Katie?" Ngiti ni tita.

Napatingin ako sakanya and wet my lips, no its your daugther I just heard her say something I've been begging her to say to me.

Nag nod nalang ako, wala kasi akong masagot eh.

Tinulungan namin ni Melissa na mag set up ng tables yung mom nya, nag lagay kami ng six plates and six glass, linagay ni tita yung apple pie sa plate and poured four seasons juice on the glass.

Wow... Ang bango nung pie, smells good. I can't wait to have a bite.

Damn! This isn't the time to remember the way Melissa ate that fucking apple. Stop thinking about it Shane! Nakakahiya kung mag kakaroon ka ng bøner right here, right now. Sa harapan pa talaga nung babaeng gusto mo? May death wish ba ko?

I shift my jeans secretly to ease out something that began to swell, then we heard a car pulled on the drive way "Finally they're here." Ngiti ni tita.

Pumasok na sila carrying some grocery bags, nakita nila si Melissa na wala na sa bed so they all smiled at her. Placed the grocery bags on the counter top then greet Mrs. Grigori.

"Sabi ko sainyo magaling na sya." Rey said coming up beside Melissa and dropping a lazy arm on her shoulders.

"Yeah, yeah. My psychic powers naman kasi kayong dalawa sa isa't isa eh." Mark said,

Linapitan naman ni Ryan si Melissa "I'm glad you're okay."

"Yung pinabili mo nandun sa grocery bags." Ngiti ni Katie, "Thanks Kate." Ngiti naman ni Melissa kay Katie.

"Okay guys ready na yung merienda nyo, and let my baby girl have her space. Kakagaling nya lets not push her." Sabi ni tita.

Sinunod namin si tita and ate our delicious apple pi-- oh fuck! From now on saying Apple is a taboo!

After nung meriend pumunta muna ako sa garden nila para mag smoke. Medyo nag crave kasi ako eh.

I just feel so fucking happy right now.

I mean yeah we're friends but at least I know she likes me more than friends, it wasn't one-sided after all.
