CHAPTER 6: Ryan

2 weeks has passed since... Well... Since all of this shit begun.

And within those two weeks, lagi nalang pumupunta si Shane sa condo namin. Minsan nag stay over sya dun minsan si Katie dun sa condo nila.

But every time na mag stay sya sa condo namin, he'll find a way to corner me and talk to me. Buti nalang pag nasa condo sya kinukulong ko na yung sarili ko sa room ko, I'm like a prisoner in my own home!

Kaya nga I'm looking forward pag may class kami, kasi mas malaki yung chance ko na makalayo kay Shane eh.

"Okay, mag papangkatang gawin tayo sa araw na ito." Filip 11 kasi namin, kaya todo tagalog yung prof namin.

"Humanap ng kapartner at mag tabi sa upuan." Bago ko pa maalok si Katie, nag group na sila ni Shane, si Rey and Mark naman nag group narin.

Great, so ako walang ka partner?

Lumingon ako sa paligid ko pero most of them already have a partner. Damn! Ayokong gumawa mag isa, baka mamaya di ko makaya.

"Hey." A deep and charming voice said behind me, when I turn around I saw this... Guy... He's tall, like waaay tall. I mean siguro mag kasing tangkad sila ni Shane and wow... He's built too. I can see the muscles within his shirt.

Melissa, wake up. May kailangan kayong gawin so wag mo muna syang pag pantasyahan.

"H-hey... So may partner kana ba?" Tanong ko,

"I was just about to ask you the same question, so I'm assuming wala kang partner? So tara?" Umupo kami sa harapan since nawalan na kami ng pwesto.

"Ngayong meron na kayong mga partner, kumuha ng 1/4 yellow paper at mag lista ng mga salitang bading." Sinabe ng prof namin, kumuha na kami ng yellow paper.

Nag simula na syang mag sulat, "So... What's your name?" He asked me,

"Melissa, but you can me Mell for short." Ngiti ko sakanya,

"What a nice name for a pretty girl like you, well I'm Ryan." Nakipag shake hands sya sakin.

Pag tingin ko sa paper namin ang dami na nyang nasulat na salitang bading so napa tingin ako sakanya and frowned. Napansin nya kong nakatingin, he looked puzzled at first but then he got what my frown was saying.

"Oh, hell no. I'm not gay." He said,

"Right..." Tinaasan ko sya ng kilay,

He laughed softly, "I swear to God, I'm not gay." He lift both his hands up, like he's surrendering.

I can't help but laugh back, "Fine, fine. I believe ya, it would be such a waste if your gay... I mean... Just look at you, you're handsome." Oh... Damn... Did I just... "Don't mind me, I'm always like this. Well not always. Most of the time maybe... Gosh this is so embarrassing." I bit my lower lip.

Natapos ng magsulat si Ryan so binaba na nya yung pen nya, "It's fine, no harm done."

"Well can I ask you one question then?"

"Sure." He scoot closer, "If you're not gay... Then how come you know so many gay language?" Nakakapag taka lang.

"Well..." He leaned in more closer, "I have an older brother who is gay." He whispered to my ear.

Nanlaki yung mga mata ko, "No... Way..."

"Uh-huh." He smiled at me, "I wanna see! Can you show me a pic?"

"Wait a sec." He pulled his wallet out and pulled out a picture, pinakita nya sakin and my eyes almost pop from their sockets.

"That's your gay brother? Really? He's... He's handsome and look at him! Every girl would want his number." Para syang si Channing Tatum but gay.

Devastating isn't it?

Tumawa lang ulit si Ryan, "Well that's how he is... And as his sibling, I have no other choice but to accept him." Ngiti nya.

"That's sweet Ryan, kung ibang tao siguro yan... Kinahihiya na nila yung kapatid nila. Its nice to know that there's still guys like you." I smiled at him.

"And its nice to know there's still girls like you who appreciate them." He smiled at me. Oh God... That smile... That pantie-dropping-smile...

"Kung tapos na kayong dalawa manahimik nalang kayo, pag katapos ng class ko tsaka nalang kayo mag landian." Saway ng prof namin samin.

Maka saway naman, kala mo ang inggay namin eh nag bubulungan na ngalang kami eh. "Someone clearly didn't get laid last night." Bulong ni Ryan sakin and that made me laughed.

Tinignan nanaman ako ng masama ng prof namin, while I was trying to contain my laughter.

After ilang minutes natapos din yung activity namin, I decided to seat with Ryan since wala naman akong nakakausap dun eh. So better be here than there.

"Are you sure its okay for you to be here? Someone's glaring." Lumingon ako kung saan nakatingin ai Ryan and Shane was looking over here.

"Don't mind him. He's just in a bad mood, clearly he also didn't get laid with his girlfriend." Sabi ko,

"I agree on that."

"So where do you live?" Tanong ko,

"Oh, so we're on getting-to-know-stage?" He grinned,

"I'm just starting a conversation." I smiled at him, "Well I live in QC, bandang west ave."

"Oh, malapit ka lang pala samin eh, I live in QC too, south ave." I smiled at him, "So uwian kaba"

"Nope, nag do-dorm ako. Jan lang sa Upad. How bout you?"

"Condo, sa Torre V."

"Malapit ka lang din naman pala sakin eh." He winked at me, "True." I smiled at him.

After 2 hours natapos nadin yung Filip 11 namin and meron kaming break so Ryan asked me if I want to have lunch with him, of course I said yes.

Its much more convenient for me to eat with him, than with Katie and Shane.

Tinext ko si Katie na di ako sasabay for lunch, Ryan and I went to the cafeteria ordered our food and pick a table to eat on.

Nag kwe-kwento si Ryan about sa HS days nya when Katie and Shane come up beside us asking if we can share a table for them kaso halos lahat taken na.

"It's fine with me, pero si Ryan... Are you fine with it?" Tanong ko,

"Sure why not, para naman makilala ko na yung friends mo." Ryan... Why do you have to approve?!

Umupo si Katie across ko, and si Shane across Ryan.

Great... This must be interesting.
