Up ahead was a grand cliff. But markings and architecture was built into the side of the stone and revealing a clear entrance between two pillars who's colour blackened near the edges.
"The Oni Temple." Harumi exclaimed with a gasp.
"If the last mask is here, then it can't be easy." She said. The entrance was littered with random pillars sticking up from a dark bit that fell for who knows how long below.
"Lloyd." Harumi turned back, anxious. Lloyd sheathed the sword on his back and let his hands be free."Go ahead. I'll be right behind if anything happens." Lloyd nodded with a reassuring look. That's right. He had to make sure there was no chance to get stabbed in the back. Ever since the troubling information of the Quiet One's identy shared to his thoughts, Lloyd had been taking extra care of his surroundings.
"Okay." Lloyd sighed as they both made it to a sound, sturdy platform on the other side of the pit. They reached three stone rocks that were large enough to cover entrances to a cavern. Lloyd bit his lip. Now there were puzzles in these things?! He's never been in the Tomb of the FSM, but he was told there were riddles and stuff. He should've expected this.
. . .
Little Wu ran free around the deck as literally everyone was tied up in the center, just... Watching him go. The Sons of Garmadon memebers that stood around were judt entertained by the sight of him waddling around. They managed to get thr Bounty onlinr and running, flying through the air. Holding the Ninja captive in their own home.
"If you harm one hair on his head..." Cole leaned forwards from his place."You'll what?" Killow leaned forwards and towered over the seated Ninja. Cole only gave a cold glare in return.
"Where is he? Where's the Green Ninja?" Killow asked.
"Ha. Like we'll ever tell you." Cole scoffed."Uh, Cole, you don't argue with a man whose navel is that close." Jay said.
"Mr. E found them." A member announced. Killow gave a shallow laugh.
"Good eye, Mr. E. The Oni Temple is just fifteen miles north of here. Set a course for the Quiet One." He commanded."You don't have to call her that. We know it's Harumi." Nya shot a glare.
"Do you guys have any idea what you're doing? She's planning on resurrecting Garmadon." Kai exclaimed.
"Lord Garmadon." He clarified.
"I'm gonna guess you never had the chance to meet him.""No, but we look forward to it." Killow replied with a malicious grin again.
"Why you... You have no idea what you're getting into!" Jay exclaimed, moving his arms ever so.
"Careful, ninja. I wouldn't want to upset the child." UV warned, raising her sai and pointing it at Wu.The Sons of Garmadon were on the move. And they brought the Ninja along with them.
The Ninja all backed down. The ones paying attention were. Morro was faced the other way, so he couldn't see what was going on behind him. But it's not like he was paying attention anyways. He had a stern face on as he stared at the ground, the stillest he's been in a good while. Whatever he was thinking of, it took a ton of concentration.
"You've been silent, Wind Ninja." Killow snapped his attention to the other side of the captives. Morro didn't respond to his title. Pixal nudged his shoulder. The Ninja's eyes blinked and looked up like he woke up from a trance.
"What." Morro sharply said.
"Hooo..." Killow whistled.
"Quite the attitude for your situation."Morro's shoulders tensed.
"I could say the same for you." His eyes narrowed."What?" Killow asked.
"Hmpf!" Pixal huffed, the chains falling off the Ninja! They all stood up at once and with the chains off, their powers fired up.
"No!" UV shouted, raising her sai to Wu. But Morro seemed to just appear and wrap his arms around Wu.
"Too slow." Morro said, then rushing away before UV could even swing her arm down.
