Chapter 3:
It's currently 7pm and Lexie is trying to find me something to wear.
« What about this ? » she shows me a black jumpsuit which is, I have to say really pretty.
« Yeah looks good » I smile and go get dressed.
10 minutes later, I go back in the room and look at Lexie. « What do you think? » I asked kind of nervous.
« You look breathtaking y/n. Lizzie will definitely want you in her be- »
« Stop oh my god! You're such a kid » I cut her off not wanting to know more.
« Fine! But don't be surprised if she asks you to take her- »
« That's it! I'm leaving » I said running into my bathroom.
This bitch is crazy.
I put light make up on and a few jewelry to finish my outfit and just as I finished, my phone rang. I answer the call seeing that it's Lizzie.
« Hey » I softly said. « Hey y/n! I'm waiting in front of your building »
« Okay I'm coming in a minute » I bite my lip trying to not sound too excited.
I hang up and leave my apartment and Lexie.
« Bye bye! Go get laid » she said making me roll my eyes.
I get downstairs feeling my nerves build up. But it all fade down when I see Lizzie, the prettiest girl I've ever seen standing here with flowers.
« Y/n! Hi! » she said so cutely. God I need to stop.
« Hey Elizabeth » I smiled. « Here, these are for you » she said and I swear I can see her cheeks turning pink.
« thank you so much, this is so cute » I replied now blushing too.
« You're welcome. Okay... come on, we have a reservation » we walk towards her car and she drives us to a beautiful place.
A restaurant by the beach. « Lizzie, this place is so beautiful » I said mesmerized.
« Just like you » she said making me almost fell on the floor.
I blushed. Hard. And she saw it.
I try to compose myself and we enter the restaurant.
« Good evening ma'am » the waiter said kindly.
« Good evening, I have a table booked for Olsen please »
« Sure follow me » the waiter said taking us to a beautiful table in front of the sea.
We sit down and look at each other for a few seconds before she speaks up.
« You changed so much but at the same time, I feel like I met my childhood best friend again. It feels so weird »
« It does feel weird. But it's easier for me since I got to watch you become the amazing person you are » I said smiling.
« Tell me more about the new you y/n » she said looking at me with such an intense gaze. Her eyes are so intimidating that I suddenly feel shy.
« Well, there's nothing much to say honestly. I opened my own book shop and I wrote a book... I'm currently working on the second one but yeah... it's kind of complicated »
« Your book was truly amazing y/n » she said surprising me a lot.
« You read my book? »
« Of course I did. I always knew you would become a famous author. And when I saw your name on the front page of the book, I was so proud. I instantly felt the need to read it, and I can't wait to read the next one » she explained making me blush.
I never thought lizzie would think about me after she went to university let alone follow my work.
« Thank you lizzie. But I have to say, I watched all your movies and tv show » I smirked making her chuckle.
« Well which one was your favorite? »
« All the marvel obviously. I love Wanda! She made me cry a lot » I said referring to the character she played.
« Oh yeah that's understandable » she giggled so cutely I almost melted.
And like that, the conversations went with the flow and we talked for hours just enjoying to get to know each other again.
It feels weird to be with her. But it makes me feel really happy. And I think I want to see her again in the future.
