Chapter 31:
I woke up around 10 today by Lizzie kissing my face.
« Baby!! » I smiled widely opening my arms for her.
« Good morning my love » she said giving me a hug.
« I missed you. I don't sleep well without you »
« What do you mean bubs? » she pulls away looking at me worried.
« I- I had a nightmare. About my dad coming here and- and hurting you. I was so scared! I wanted to call you but I didn't want to bother you »
« Oh my love. Listen, you could never bother me. Even if you call me in the middle of the night, I will quit everything to come to you. I love you so much y/n. So please, next time call me and I'll come to you in a matter of time »
I nodded letting my head fall on her shoulder. « I love you »

« Aubrey is here too. I managed to drag her here » she said, still stroking my hair making me almost fall asleep.
« Come lay down with me while they talk » she nodded and laid down in the bed next to me. But I'm quick to lay on top of her.
« You're the cutest » she chuckled. « What if Aubrey kills Lexie? » I asked almost asleep.
« we will be here to save her » I chuckled.
We cuddle for a few minutes before I talk again. « Should I invite my mom for dinner? We could invite Lexie, Aubrey, the twins and my sister and her family? » I suggested.
« Of course bubs, it's a great idea. We could do that in my house if you want » I raise my head to look at Lizzie. God how much I love this woman.
« oh Lizzie. Every time I think I could not be more in love with you, you prove me wrong. I know we've not been together for a long time but I know that you're my person »
I see her gaze change to a soft one and she smiles widely « you're my person too y/n. You're my Emily Dickinson » I chuckle at the reference « and you're my Sue Gilbert » I said before kissing her passionately. Our kiss doesn't last long since we can't stop smiling.
I take my phone and text everyone telling them for the dinner tonight. Everyone happily agrees and my mom thanks me telling me how happy she is which make me smile a little.
We get up and I go take a shower. Well Lizzie quickly joins me and we take way more long than a normal shower. But we stop eventually and get dressed to go in the living room.
We find Lexie and Aubrey on the couch with a bit of distance between each other. « Y/n please! Tell your best friend to talk to me for real or I'm leaving » Aubrey told me making me sigh. « Lex! Come on, you can do it. Do you want Aubrey to leave without telling her how you feel? »
« I'm trying I promise! But ive never done this ok? Please just be patient » she said, raising her voice a little. I can feel that she's damn nervous.
« Listen lexie... Aubrey won't judge you. She knows this is new for you. And if she's not understanding... I will take care of her » I said, the last part looking directly at Aubrey.
« We will go at Lizzie's now. Join us when you're finished we have a dinner tonight. If you wanna have sex, just do it in the guest room. And change the sheets. I love you girls. You can do it lex » I said, taking Lizzie's hand and leaving the apartment.
Lexie pov:
We watch as Lizzie and y/n leaves the apartment hand in hand they're made for each other. They are literally each other's person. I want that. With Aubrey. I take a deep breath and look at the beautiful woman that make my heart jump every time I look at her.
« I'm sorry Aubrey. You don't deserve to be treated like that and I feel awful for hurting you. The only thing I want now if to make it up to you and to have you back in my life because I missed you. Maybe you will accept for us to become more than friends with benefit, if you're okay with that of course » when I finish talking, I feel better, like relived. This was easier than I thought.
« You better not hurt me again Lexie. And you know I'm here to listen, so if you want us to be in a relationship, you will have to open up. Because I don't want situations like this to happen every time there is a problem. You're safe with me, I won't hurt or judge you. So please talk to me from now on »
« I will I promise. It feels good to talk to you. You know how I feel now and its good » I smiled.
« We still have things to deal with but we're on the good way » she smirked at me and I blushed a little « so what are we now? » I asked playing with my fingers.
« I don't know, you tell me » she smirked again. Ugh she's enjoying this way too much. « Okay! Fine I will ask you. But you're mean » I rolled my eyes making her laugh.
« would you, Aubrey Plaza, like to become my girlfriend? » I said feeling so nervous that I'm sweating. « Yes sweetheart, I would love that » she said with her famous seductive tone.
I lean closer to her and kiss her passionately. This is my first serious relationship and I will do anything I can to make it work.
« We have to thank y/n and Lizzie » I whispered when we pull away « oh definitely »
