Chapter 8:
I woke up early to go at the shop. I welcomed a few customers.
A lot come here to read but to work as well. It's like a library.
I hired a student a few months ago, her name is Amelia, she works here from time to time, mostly when I'm not here.
It's currently 3pm and I'm storing some books when a voice called me.
« Y/n? » i turned around smiling widely « Lizzie? What are you doing here? » I give her a small hug, I can't stop smiling now.
« I was passing by and I decided to come to see where you work » she smiled as widely as me.
« I'm happy to have you here » I get lost in her beautiful green eyes.
« Uhm- I was wondering, do you have a book to advise me? » she asked.
« Yes absolutely! Here... » I looked for the right book for her « the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It's a known book but it's absolutely amazing you'll see »
« Thank you. How much do I owe you? » she asked.
« You can have it it's okay »
« Thank you honey » she kissed my cheek.
I died right now. That's it.
« You're- you're welcome angel »
She blushed « I'm sorry I have to go now. I'll call you later »
I frowned disappointed that she has to go « okay. Bye Elizabeth » I hugged her quickly again.
« bye bye cutie » she said « stop the nicknames » I laughed.
« Do you really want me to stop tho? » she raised an eyebrow « probably not »
She left and I stayed here, smiling like an idiot.
I continued my day feeling all happy and got back home at 7 like yesterday.
I ate and worked on my book. I feel like Im starting to get some inspiration back which is amazing.
I get a call from Lizzie at 9 and answer happily. « Hey angel »
« Y/n? Can- I need you to help me » she said sounding stressed « what? What's wrong? Are you hurt? »
« Robbie is- is waiting in front of my house and I'm scared » she said.
« This son of a bitch. I'm coming. Send me your address » I said taking my keys and a hoodie.
She send me her address and I drive as fast as I can to her place.
When I get there I see Robbie still standing here but not doing anything. Just calling for Lizzie.
« Hey! Leave her alone » I said angrily. « Who the fuck are you? »
« none of your business. Lizzie told you that she doesn't want you anymore! She's scared right now. Just accept it and leave her alone »
« I just want to talk to her » he tried to say.
« I don't want to talk to you » Lizzie said behind us.
I see her crying, I walk towards her and take her in my arms.
« I'm really sorry Robbie. But this is over since a few months already. You have to accept that »
He looked down and nodded before leaving without a word.
Lizzie turned to look at me with teary eyes. « It's okay I'm here » I said and she just nuzzled into me, her face in my neck.
She has such a dead grip into me as if she's scared to let go.
« Lizzie I promise I'm not going to leave. Come on let's go inside »
We walk inside and she leads me to her bedroom. She doesn't talk, she just lay me down on the bed before getting her body on top of mine.
I'm completely letting her do anything she wants or need I don't care as long as she feels better.
Are friends sleeping this way with each other tho?
« Sleep angel, you're safe » I said slowly stroking her hair.
« As long as you're here, I'll be safe » she whispered pecking my neck making me shudder.
I slide my hand on her back and caress it slowly.
« I'm not going anywhere » I replied before I feel her breath steady.
« Oh Lizzie, what are you doing to me » I whispered closing my eyes enjoy her warmth.
I know we will have to talk. I know I'll have to deal with my feelings. But right now I just want to enjoy being with her.

Next chapter will be a long talk between those two.
