Chapter 33:
« What do you mean Robbie is here? » Lizzie said as I almost ran to the front door.
I find him yelling at Aubrey which makes me even more angry.
« Leave. Right now » I said calmly « oh you again. Of course. Where is Lizzie? »
« Im here » she said but I get distracted when I feel two pairs of arms wrapping around my legs.
I look down finding Noa waiting for me to pick him up. « Come here » I scoop him up in my arms and he just nuzzle his face in my neck.
« Scary man » he whispered and I look back at my girlfriend who's very angry.
« what the fuck do you want? »
« I just want to talk to you. You made a mistake leaving me » he said making Lizzie laugh.
« Oh yes what a mistake leaving an asshole like you to finally be happy »
« I know you love me and I will come back here every time until you let me live here again »
Lizzie gives me a panicked look. So I step up in the conversation.
« If you come back here one time you'll regret it »
« Oh so now you're threatening me? »
« when you threaten my girlfriend yes » I said letting the words slip out of my mouth.
I see his look change to a angry as hell one.
« So you're fucking this whore? » he asks Lizzie. I quickly give Noa to Lexie and approach Robbie. I take him by the collar of his shirt and take him away.
This dude has no strength. I walk further away from the house and push him making him fell on the ground.
« if I see you one more time near Lizzie or any person of my family, I will sue you and take everything you have. You'll beg me to leave you alone. Am I clear? » I tell him calmly but really seriously.
He looks at me scared. And that's all I want. I don't like to threaten people but that's the only way for him to leave us alone.
He doesn't answer and just get up and quickly leave.
I walk back to my family who watched the whole scene. Lizzie runs to me and hug me strongly.
I kiss her head and hug her back. I feel her all tensed up. « You're okay baby. It's over now. He won't bother you again »
We get back inside with everyone. « Damn you were hot » Aubrey smirks making me roll my eyes.
« Shut up » Lexie says making the other laugh.
I feel that Lizzie is all shaken up. She didn't say a word since the accident.
I look at MK worried. She takes her sister's hand and walks upstairs with her. Ashley quickly follow them but I decide to stay downstairs to let them have some time together.
I stay in the living room and talk with my mom « so, this was Lizzie's ex boyfriend? »
« It was. He's an ass » I sighed « yes I saw that »
« if he comes back I swear mom- » I get cut off by Ashley who rush down the stairs.
« Y/n come fast. Lizzie is having a panic attack and we can't calm her down »
She doesn't even have time to finish her sentence that I'm running upstairs.
When I reach our room I find Lizzie on the floor literally collapsing.
My heart is beating so fast. I never saw her in this state.
I crouch down in front of her and try to talk to her. « Lizzie! Baby it's me it's y/n. I'm here » seeing that she clearly isn't hearing me, I decide to take her hand and kiss it making her jump at first but she doesn't move her hand.
I kiss her hand over and over again and then place her hand on my chest so she can feel the fast beating of my heart.
At this point I have tears streaming down my cheeks seeing her in this state is awful.
I can't help but think that if I checked on her sooner, it wouldn't have happened.
I see something click in her eyes. She can see me now. She's aware that I'm here but she still can't breathe.
I breath deeply in and out telling her to follow my breathing. I know she's not hearing me but she can feel it with her hand on my chest.
We stay like this for what feels like an hour but in reality it's only a few minutes.
When she calms down I put my forehead on hers. « it's over now. I'm here and I'll never let someone hurt you. Do you hear me baby? » she nods and I let out a relived sigh.
« you got me so scared my love »
