Chapter 5:

Lizzie and I quickly got in my apartment. I was relieved to see that Lexie left.

Don't get me wrong I love her but she would've made sarcastic comments and I want to avoid being embarrassed in front of Lizzie.

« Your place is beautiful » she commented and I smiled « thank you. I love it »

I live in a simple apartment, not too big and not too small. Perfect size for me and sometimes Lexie.

I have two bedrooms with a bathroom each, a big living room opened to the kitchen. It's pretty modern and I did all the decorations.

I observe lizzie as she takes her time to look around my place. « You have a lot of books » she said and I smiled « I do. I love reading. I mean I'm an author and I own a book shop » I chuckled softly.

« Do you want to change and wear something more comfortable? » I asked after a few seconds of silence.

« Yes if you don't mind » she softly answered « of course not, you can take a shower if you want and we can watch a movie » I suggested and she nodded.

« Yeah I would love that » I show her her room and give her some of my clothes. We're almost the same height so it's perfect.

« Here is a towel and your clothes »

« Thank you sweetie » she said before walking in the bathroom as if she didn't just give me a cute nickname.

I blushed and quickly left the room to call Lexie. « Hey how was your date? » she asked as soon as she answered.

« I don't have time for that. Lizzie is currently showering in my shower » I said panicked.

« Girl, I didn't think you would fuck her this quickly » she said and I let out a laugh.

« shut up lex, we didn't do anything. I invited her bc her ex husband can't seem to leave her alone » I quickly told her without all the details because it's Lizzie's private life.

« I'm so proud of you for inviting her. Now tell me more about this non-date » she smirked.

I spend 5 minutes telling her about the night, telling her that Lizzie did flirty comments all night long which makes her go crazy.

« Okay I have to go now but I'll try to text you » I said. « Okay enjoy » she raised an eyebrow with a smirk.

I smiled and hang up « hey » I hear Lizzie's voice behind me.
« Oh hey! How was your shower? »

« It was good thank you » I take my time to look at her. She looks so cute in my clothes I could die right now.

« What movie do you want to watch? » I asked « uhm I don't know, whatever you prefer »

I choose the movie ocean 8 and we settled on the couch with a blanket that cover the both of us.

« y/n? » she called me during the movie. « Yes? » I turned to look at her tired eyes.

« When I'm with you I feel like I'm being with the y/n I've always known. You changed a lot, you became independent but I still see the way your eyes sparkle when you're excited, the way you blush every time I compliment you, your smile that can light up a whole room, your beautiful face and body. I feel like meeting you again. You seem more confident tho and it suits you so well » She smiled sleepily.

I blush hard at her words. « Lizzie... you're- you're intimidating me » I sighed trying to stop blushing.

« Just like when we were young » she smiled widely. She's right, I've always been intimidated by her, she's always been so pretty, funny, confident and just perfect.

« Am I making you nervous y/n? » she said in a lower voice almost making me gasp.

« Yes. A lot » I said honestly. I don't see the point of lying.

« But as you just said I'm more confident, I learned to trust myself. And I can tell you that you're beautiful. You already were before but now... that's another level. Your cute little giggles are making me melt, the way you look cute and hot at the same time is crazy. And the way you flirt with me is- it's flustering me » I confessed, my smile growing as I see her blush hard.

I guess the roles have been reversed.
