"What the hell is this?" A loud voice wakes me up, I realized I was still with Briar, I smiled to myself. I opened my eyes and briar sat up quickly, wrapping his arms around me. We looked to see Cas,Briar's older brother staring at us with a mean yet surprised look, I gulped and grabbed his hand, squeezing it. "Excuse me. I'm talking to you two." He said speaking again. Good thing we got dressed again. I opened my mouth to explain but Briar talked first. "This is my boyfriend. If you can't ex--" Cas cut him off by raising his hand. He left the room and came back with a box. "Mom and Dad told me to give you this. When you found love." He smiled.. and handed Briar the box, he smiled that goofy smile he always did when he was happy. I smiled and watched him open the box. He pulled out two necklaces and a giant book that said : The Love Book. From Mom and Dad. Briar almost started to cry, I rubbed his back slowly as he leaned into me. "I'll let you two look at it alone. But your gonna be late." He closed the door and proceeded down the hallway. I looked at Briar who was tearing up almost crying softly, I hold his hand and kiss his cheek. "These necklaces belonged to my parents before they died. My dad gave my mom it when they were In high school." He said softly. I slightly tilted my head toward him,he stated at the necklaces twirling them in his fingers. Briar turned to me for a second looking at me for a minute, He pulled out his mother's necklace, that read in bold: Together. He put it around my neck it was A pretty ruby encrusted half heart. I smiled as he pulled out the other half that was a sapphire encrusted that said:Forever. My eyes teared up when I realized what it meant, this was amazing. I kissed him lightlty as he held on to my waist. I was his and he was mine. Finally. 

Briar. 

I slipped on my red converses and ran my fingers through my hair, I checked the time, we were only ten minutes late for our first block and since Lycan had a test today I had to go to school with him. I leaned against the car as I waited for him to come outside, I smiled as he came out with my black flannel on and black jeans with his gray converses. "Dont you look cute baby." I said hugging him, kissing him before opening his door, He blushed. "Awhh.Thanks Babez." He said smiling. I drove to school, our favorite song The Phoenix by Fall Out Boy started playing:

We jammed to it, as soon as it ended I pulled in to school parking lot, hurrying to get checked in, and get him to class. "Mr. Smith&Mr. Pxyis your late. Why?" The English teacher said as we tried to slip in hand in hand, everyone turned to look at us, Lycan dropped my hand and scurried to his seat, "It was nothing Mr.Blague. uh Briar was just giving me a ride cause I woke up late. That's all." Lycan said coldly. I looked down. Whispers filled the room, "Briar is with that freak. Ew." "Wasnt that dude just kissing Alex? " "Means Lycan got himself a slut." I looked over at Lycan, he was staring straight at the shit talker who was getting everyone to whisper, Jacob Perry, Isabelle's Son. That Bastard. Before I knew it, Lycan had jumped up and begin punching Jacob in the face, kicking him and beating the blood out of him. They fought for what seemed like forever. I pulled him off, "HOLY SHIT BABE STOP!!!" I grabbed him in my arms and took out the classroom since school.was almost over, Mr.Blague just kicked us out ..I rushed Lycan to the bathroom to see his right eye was swollen, his face bruised, and scratches all over him along with smudges of blood. I couldn't believe he'd risk his clean record for me, maybe he really did love me like he had said. He grinned. "That felt good. He deserved it." He whispered lightly, his voice was soft and hollow. It made my heart beat and my stomach turn. What was he becoming?... I leaned him against the sink and started to run some water on a paper towel. Dabbing his face gently, Lycan whinced at my touch and pulled away. "Get off me would you? I can take care of myself." He said coldly. I shrunk back leaning against the cold tile on the wall, it's like this whole new side I had never seen from him. It was scaring me. "Will you at least go to the office so we can go." I said speaking up as I dabbed the scratches I had got from getting them apart. "Cause I'm suspended too." Lycan rolled his eyes pushing past me and walked out of the bathroom, my sadness quickly turned to anger. He went to the office got his work for the next week or so and left. I followed him to my car cause well without it he couldn't get home. "Drive me home please." Lycan said coldly. I looked at him and sat back in my seat."What the hell happened back there?" I asked leaning towards him wiping the blood from his lip. He turned to me, his eyes looked so Hallow and emotionless. "I kicked his ass for running his mouth about us." He looked down as his bruised knuckles and exahaled. I love you....I wanted to say I knew what he was going through but I didn't... I touched his hand, and he pulled back from me wincing in pain..." Just lets go. They called Marci and told her, she said she doesn't care. So I'm leaving. She already packed my stuff.." I started the car feeling like I didn't know him anymore, we went by his place and picked up his bags of course Cas wouldn't mind if he stayed with us for a few days or maybe a month. I sighed pulling in the  driveway, I figured maybe I should give him some alone time or something. "Hey. You gonna be okay?" I asked him before he got out.  He just looked at me...like he hated me or something. "Thanks but no thanks. I can handle myself Briar." He replied harshly. I swallowed hard. Hurtful much? "Just fucking go. You know what I try the best I can with you. And you dont even appreciate me." I yell at him. Lycan glares at me, for a second I can see a glimpse of the old him still there but it quickly disappears. "Fine. I dont need you either!" He yells back. That's when I get really pissed off. "You dont need me! Really?! Who's the one who spent constant nights at your house when your parents we're arguing? Who's the one who helped you after Isabelle did that shit to you? Who's the one who let you cry yourself to sleep because you were being picked on because you were gay?! ME! THAT'S FUCKING WHO! Your helpless without me." I yelled...wow I was yelling a lot. I almost felt myself losing my voice. He just started at me, then he did something I never thought he'd do...He took off the necklace I gave him and put it on the dash board. "Thanks. Tell me how you really feel. It was nice while it lasted huh?" He scoffs. "To think I almost let her go." With those last words he opens the door and runs away.
