My heart stopped when I saw him holding that guy. Holding him like he cared.
So I made a bitchy comment and left. Wasn't I Right? He's just playing with that guy. I sighed and went outside looking at the sky. "You're in love with him aren't you?"
A voice said from the shadows. I turned quickly towards the sound. It was that guy, he stepped out of the shadows,he was bruised and skinny like he hadn't eaten in days.
"You don't have to stare at me like I'm some freak you know." He spoke up again pulling me out of my thoughts. "Oh, I'm sorry.." I replied looking at him.
He smiled but it didn't last long. "What you saw with Matt and I was nothing. He doesn't want me like you said." I sighed feeling guilty. "It's clear that he wants you." He whispered looking at his feet.
The boy wiped his eyes and walked down the steps before Matt came running after him. "Connor, I didn't mean it." He yelled after him. I watch them both and suddenly felt like shit. "You invade my privacy and then treat me like a charity case?! You're just like those kids at school." He turned around and ran away leaving Matt standing there with a hurt look in his eyes.
"Look what you did.. Thanks a lot best friend." Matt said harshly and left.
This was all my fault.
