When the afternoon rolled around every Viking was at the arena to watch Hiccup and Astrid fight the Gronckle and who would be the one to kill the Monstrous Nightmare everyone stared at the two teens who were in the middle of the arena ready to face the Gronckle

"Are you Vikings ready for the semi-finals of Dragon Training to see who would get the chance to go to the finals and kill the Monstrous Nightmare! Stoick said as the crowd roared in cheers

"The Viking who defeats the Gronckle would go on to kill the Monstrous Night so which teen would the honor would it be my son Hiccup Haddock or Astrid Hofferson so let's bring out the Gronckle. So let the best Viking win." Stoick said as the hatch on the Gronckle cage-raised up then the Gronckle barged out which sent the two teens to go off running then they hid so the dragon doesn't find them

Okay, it's the Gronckle today maybe I should do the same trick I did before it's not like these beasts are smart. Astrid said as she put her axe down then she ran towards the Gronckle earning gasps from the crowd then she jumped onto the Gronckles back and it started to fly around the arena trying to get her off but it didn't do anything so the Gronkle went up towards the cage which Astrid saw so she let go of the Gronkle as she grabbed the bars then she flipped down until she safely made it to the arena floor then she grabbed her axe and she hid behind a barrier right next to Hiccup which she saw

Stay out of my way I'm fucking winning this. Astrid said as she rolled over to another barrier

Sure by all means." Hiccup said as he stood up from the barrier and fixed his helmet while looking up at his father not knowing the Gronckle was coming towards him while Astrid was still hiding

"Okay, this time I have it." Astrid said as she vaulted over the barriers while doing her war cry but she saw that Gronckle has been defeated by Hiccup which made her mad.

"You fucking cheat, how can you fucking win." Astrid said as she swang her axe around then she stopped as she heard Hiccup say something that made her suspicious

"See you guys later buy right now I'm late." Hiccup said then Astrid put her axe against Hiccup's throat

"Late for what, what are you late for?" Astrid asked then Gobber stood next to them as Stoick silent the crowd

"Everyone please shut one, the Elder has chosen who would kill the Monstrous Nightmare." Stoick said as Gobber pointed to Astrid but Gothi shook her head so Gobber raised his eyebrow and pointed at Hiccup who winched as Gothi smiled and nodded her head which made the crowd silent then they cheered as the teens came in and lifted Hiccup up while Astrid was giving Hiccup the death glare as Hiccup was sarcastically made a response which no one heard

"That is so great, I'm so excited that I want to leave." Hiccup sarcastically said as they carried him back to the village where they put him on the ground then they continued to the Great Hall where they continued partying Hiccup's victory while Hiccup ran to his bedroom where he picked up a bag and he put his clothes in the bag

While Hiccup was doing that Astrid was seething as she was mad that Hiccup won so she wanted to know where Hiccup disappeared all the time so she hid in the bushes that were behind Hiccup and Stoick's place and she waited until Hiccup came out

After 30 minutes Hiccup came out with a bag over his shoulder as he ran into the forest so Astrid who was still hidden followed him until they made it to the cove so Astrid hid behind the rock where Hiccup was sitting in front so Astrid went in the rock with her axe and a stone

"Toothless we leaving! Hiccup shouted then he saw his strap as gotten so he fixed then he heard something getting sharpened which made him look up and he saw Astrid sharping her axe with the sun shining on her making her look like an angel
