I set my ingredients on a counter next to my cauldron. The sun was shining through the crack of the dark blue curtains. I knew Swiss didn't want this but the look of desperation in Sunshine's body when she said that the witch could help. I couldn't say no.

I purposely awoke early in the morning so I could get a potion to Sunshine when I went to get the water for the day. The plan was to gift her the potions in a basket with some books that I said she would enjoy. I was going to pick out some random books from the library downstairs then go find her. So here I was mixing all the ingredients together. The cauldron bubbled as I added the final ingredient. I looked over at the book one last time to make sure I added everything properly then flicked my hands over the bubbling pot to stir it. The liquid quickly turned into a deep crimson color before changing to a deep orange. There was enough in here for around five bottles so I was gonna keep one for myself, give one to Sunshine then the rest to Terzo.

I traveled down the ladder to look for a random book that I would never read and that wouldn't immediately expose me as a witch. She was going to find out when she saw the note I'm putting on the bottle but it was just for now. It read,

   Dear Sunshine,
I have written this note to inform you that I am in fact the witch that your brother stayed with for so long. I'm sorry I didn't tell you this earlier, however I knew you would think differently of me and I couldn't risk that. It has been so long since I've had someone to talk to and for that I want to thank you with this healing potion. I understand if you no longer want to speak to me after this, but I just wanted to say thank you.

                        Sincerely, (Y/n)

I was scared that this would be the last time I would see her but I knew in the long run this would be a good thing, despite the kings hatred for me and my kind I knew I had to do this.

I finally made it to the bottom and looked around for a little bit to find a book on flower language that I figured anyone would find useful. I never fully figured out the flower language but I was always fascinated by it so I figured she would enjoy it as well.

It was cold in this basement as I let out a shiver that made my teeth clatter. I wasn't wearing a lot of layers because of how warm it was upstairs so I made sure to get out of here as quickly as possible and made the conscious reminder for when I go see Terzo to wear warmer clothes.

I packed up the basket with the book and the potion underneath with a cloth wrapped around it. I then laid a white cloth over the book and walked out of the room with the basket in my hand.

And with a pat on the head to Oráiste I waltzed out the door with a bucket in one hand and the basket in the other.

The walk to the river felt shorter then normal but I assume it was because I was so caught up with the greenery that was coming in. I was the only person here right now but I figured I would wait for a bit for her. I sat by the river picking at the flowers in the ground waiting for her.

"Phoebe!" I heard a voice call out from the other side of the river. I quickly perked up to be met with the masked face of Sunshine.

"Hello Sunshine, how are you?" I asked with a small smile on my face.

"Surprisingly I'm doing alright, I wish I could say the same for the king." She spoke happily as she sat beside me.

"Is he not getting better?" I questioned with concern. She shook her head.

"The queen is planning on taking over soon." She huffed out a sigh.

"What is the queen like?" My voice was soft as I asked.
