The boy tied all of our horses to the front of a carriage and told us to get into the back and hide in the hay.

"Won't the guard check to see if we're hiding here? And there are a lot of horses." I pointed out. But the boy just smiled and said, "If we stay at the end of the line going into Tara, the guards won't check. They're too lazy. And I am a person who owns stables, people abandon their horses with me every day. The guard know that."

I wasn't fully convinced that the plan would work but I decided not to argue because I had no better ideas. Niall put a had on my shoulder and said, "Don't worry. Even if we are found, they have to fight the girl who blew up the Dundalk town wall."

We all got into the carriage while the boy and his friends sat in the front. It was really tense in the back and nobody spoke in case the guards overheard. There was a flap over the back to stop hay escaping but also meant that we couldn't see. But I knew we were moving when the carriage started rocking.

After a few minutes, the flap was pulled back and I ducked under the hay, staying as still as possible. I didn't dare look up in case it was a guard. Someone got into the carriage and grabbed my shoulder. I knew I had been spotted and I looked up, grabbed my sword and nearly killed one of the girls who had been with the boy, but she ducked.

"Whoa! That was close! No need to kill me. I was just going to let you know that we are here!" she said.

"It was your own fault for not saying if was you." I muttered under my breath but I don't think she heard me. Charlie was grinning beside me.

"Well at least I'm not the only one trying to brighten things up" he said happily.

We got out of the carriage. We were outside a large house in a large field. All of our horses were in the field. The girl was lead us towards the house. She was slightly taller than me and had blue eyes and blond hair.

"Welcome to our hideout!" she announced.
