Mani's mom and Madhu's dad are siblings. Rani was married to her cousin Suresh and Muthu made his love marriage with Nithya. MuthuKumar and Rani has lost their Father and mother as of now and both surviving on their own. Kamatchi and Muthu and has a desire of marrying his daughter (Madhu) to his akka's son(Mani). But Rani and Madhu are not that tons in all likelihood as they hit a quarrel when Madhu was doing her higher secondary schooling and from which they were not talking that much. They talk only on purpose and Madhu will be saying something in response to what Rani will just nod her head.
Eventhen Madhu use to go to Rani's home and use to talk good to others just not to spoil the bond between Rani athai and her father. Muthu is little strict but a good hearted person. Muthu is a farmer and he also has his part in politics too. Suresh was also a passionate farmer growing cattles and has his own farm.
