After that call from Prabhu's family, Muthu made a call to his sister and told everything Prabhu's family said. Rani was happy to hear that but she told that let Mani decide about his life. Then Muthu called Mani and asked him to come to his home by evening.

Mani's pov:

It was late in the evening and the time was almost 6:30 PM and I reached Muthu mama's house. But there was no one other than Madhu who was speaking to someone on call. She put the call on hold and was opening the door seeing me and she went to kitchen resuming her call. I was wondering why mama has called me and answering myself may be to speak about Nega's marriage. She came with tea and gave it to me. I drank the tea and she gave me some snacks. I had it and went inside the house. I said Madhu to wake me up when mama comes home and I lied on the bed. She said ok and turned on the fan and she went outside the house with her writing materials as I was going to sleep and if she writes there with the lights on it may disturb me. I was wondering is she caring for me or will this also comes under her soft corner?. Am I a child? Won't i be turning on the fan myself? But really I forgot about the fan due to tired. I was wondering and soon slept.

I suddenly heard Madhu saying 'Macha ! Wake up appa has come' by then the time was 8:00 pm and I woke up and came out where mama and Mithran was sitting having their dinner I also had my dinner by that time and mama was speaking on call. We finished the dinner, mama came to me and started to talk

Muthu / Mani :

Mani, enaku Prabhu veetla irundhu kuptaanga avangalku unayum pidichirkaam adhanaala Prabhu oda thangachi Pranitha va unaku kalyaanam pani thara kekaraanga nee ena solre?

Mani's pov:
What ?? Then Mama you are not going to marry your daughter to me. I was seeing Madhu for a second or two, it seems she already knows about this and she was sitting with a blank expression on her face.

Mani's pov:

I came to my home. I was totally blank. I told mom everything and was about to sleep. Suddenly Nega questioned me 'Hey anna don't just accept for the sake of me do you really say ok for this marriage?' I patted her head and said it's not for the sake of you I just left the decision to mama he won't do us anything wrong. She happily nodded her head and went too sleep. I was also sleeping peacefully. The next day mama called Prabhu's family and told that I would marry Pranitha and they asked for keeping both the engagements and marriages on the same day. Mama told ok that will be the good one and after two weeks there comes an auspicious day we can keep the engagements then. They are ok with that. I called Vishnu and told about these things happening around me so quick. Vishnu was the only one who was not happy about my decision when everyone accepted it.

At Madhu's clg :

Madhu was happily saying about her cousin's marriage with Priya. And here Priya was wondering why Madhu is this much happy for this and for the god sake Madhu is going to miss someone gold.

Madhu's pov:

Thank you God for hearing me so soon. I was really happy and excited to the core on hearing about his marriage. I really can't answer the question why am I ? But the thing is I am happy just happy for no reason.

Priya / Madhu:

Madhu I think that you are gonna miss the golden person in your life.

Priya he may be gold but you know me right , more than my happiness, I value people around me being happy. If I marry him, I can see no one happy other than me. Even he can't be happy just because of my stupidity. I want them to be happy. If not him, there are few good persons on the earth still and I can marry one of those and live my life peacefully.

Why come you are adament like this? Listen to me madhu! You will be really happy with him.

Priya will you please stop advising me and if you are gonna talk about this I will give a nice slap to you.

They both left the college and Priya was sitting on her bed and was thinking about buying new dresses and other jewels for the engagement and was being more happy and keeping that happiness in face and slept peacefully.
The next days went on just by Muthu and Rani started their works for engagement planning about inviting their close ones and the venue and other stuffs. Soon the weeks passed. And tomorrow is the date of engagement. Kamatchi (Mani's grandma) called him usually she won't speak with any others in the family except her son Suresh. But this time Kamatchi was asking her grandson about his wish in this marriage and as usual Mani told that he would never object his mama. Kamatchi was upset because she wanted mani to marry Madhu. But it's all over by today and from tomorrow Mani's girl will be someother but not her. Mani was thinking even I'm not worrying about this decision why are others keep on pestering me to reconsider my decision. What ever others may say but I will obey to my mama only and soon he slept.
