The midday sun hangs over Honnouji Academy's courtyard. The clouds overhead cast a grey hue that creates an air of dread matched only by the same intense silence.
But that silence is broken as an explosion of force rocks the very foundation of the school. Ryuko Matoi is hurled through the solid walls of the school. Close in pursuit is none other than Satsuki Kiryuin, but like Ryuko, she too now wears a Kamui.

Junketsu, meaning purity. Initially meant for a different purpose but is now being worn by Satsuki to defeat Ryuko. And Ryuko is clearly outmatched. Being outpowered, outmaneuvered, and out-skilled by Satsuki, all Ryuko could do was try and fight, but there was no room for any form of resistance.
This all culminates in Ryuko's utter defeat by Satsuki, unable to call upon her own Kamui, Senketsu. She can only lay helplessly as Satsuki goes for the finishing slash.

Sastuski: "For I know that my actions are utterly pure!!" Satsuki screams out as she slashes downward.
But her attack is caught, blocked by the sound of metal meeting metal. But the scissor blade of Ryuko doesn't meet her sword, but the flame-red blade of Omen with Hawk holding its handle.
Hawk: "Sorry I'm late. Had to get dressed."
Satsuki: "You! What! What are you wearing? How is this possible?!"
Hawk: "Oh, this? Nothing too special but props to you. Not anyone can throw on just any old thing and make it look good."
Hawk smirked as he, too, had changed his attire. His usual brown jacket had been switched with a finely stitched black coat infused with the very Life Fibers that Junketsu and Senketsu were comprised of.
