Chapter 30: What's in the Bag?

Ren hops down a maintenance hole cover, landing with a splash as he looks around to ensure no COVERS were hidden within the sewer.

Ren: "Okay, Nora! It's safe to come down." He moves through the drainage pipe as he hears Nora land behind him.

Nora: "Eww! It smells like crap!"

Ren: "It's a sewer. Not much else it can smell like. Come on. We're almost to where Jakuzure found Hawk."

Nora: "What if the bag isn't there?"

Ren: "We'll have to backtrack. Most likely, it'll be at the Mankanshoku place if it isn't here."

Nora: "You think Pyrrha is okay?"

Ren: "Arent you the one who said to have faith in her?"

Nora: "I mean, yeah. But I can't help just worrying. I mean, that was a pretty bright flash of light earlier."

The two continued to trudge through the sewer until they came across the remnants of a campfire. All around are strewn pieces of clothing that had been stitched together.

Nora: "This looks like the spot. Jakuzure said the Mataro kid used a bunch of random clothes as gauze."

Ren: "Let's get to looking." The two then begin to sift through the piles of clothing strewn about the drainage pipe.

Nora: "It'd be nice if we knew a clue of what could be inside the bag."

Ren: "Well, unfortunately, because of the Blackout Potion from Hawk's Dragon wizard friend, we won't ever know until we find it...whatever it is."

Nora: "Any idea on what it might be?"

Ren: "Don't know."

Nora: ".....Vitamin gummies."

Ren: "Huh?"

Nora: "Vitamin Gummies. That's what's in the bag."

Ren: "You can't be serious. There's no way that's what's in his bag."

Nora: "Says you."

Ren: ".............An extra heart."

Nora: "Ew! No way! That'd be gross." Dante then summons himself as he rests on top of a pile of questionable material.

Dante: "I mean, it could be. My money's on a whole extra Hawk." Vergil summons himself beside Nora.

Vergil: "You just want to be proven right."

Nora: "Well then, Mister know it all. What do you think it is?"

Vergil: "I'm not going to participate in this childishness."

Dante: "That's because he's scared of being wrong."

Ren: "Hehe."

Nora: "Ha ha! Vergil guy's scared."

Vergil: "I am not!...Fine!....I think it's a second Yamato."

Dante: "Of course, he thinks of his damn sword."

Vergil: "And you think your idea was any better?"

Ren: "In the grand scheme of it all, it'd make more sense to have the sword than himself."

Nora: "But what if it is another Hawk? *gasp* What if the other him is a her?!"

Vergil: "That has got to be the most asinine thought I've ever-"
