Qrow: "How ya been, bucko? Long time no see."Qrow pulls the Life Fiber steel replica of Harbinger from the ground as he rests it on his shoulder.
Hawk: "I've been better. You?" Hawk remains relaxed.
Qrow: "Meh. Dying was a pain. But you know me. I take it all in stride. But look at you! You get older? How old are you, 30?"
Hawk: "Just about. Glad to see you haven't gotten any older. At this point, I'd expect you to be about the age of dirt."
Qrow: "Like the new attitude. Not gonna lie you were almost the spitting image of Raven. All moody and angry and shit like that."
Ragyo: "Kill him already!"
Qrow: "Hey! Shut up, hag! Can't you see I'm having a nice father-son discussion? Psh. Manners, am I right?"
Hawk seemed surprised by Qrow's rebellious tendency, given how loyal Nora and Ren were when he first saw them. That was until Hawk paid closer attention to his father.
A bonus to having a deeper connection to the Kamui he now, due to it absorbing the Qliphoth Fruit, was that Hawk could see the flow of Life Fibers. And he could see that something was different about this Qrow.
Qrow was definitely a great deal more powerful. It seemed he was made from strands of the Life Fiber Core which meant he could pose a more significant threat. But Hawk also could see that the Mind Sticthing that Ragyo had Qrow under was much weaker and loose than the Mind Stitching she had Nora and Ren under.
Ragyo: "You dare?! I made you! And you will do as I command! Now kill Hawk Branwen!"
Hawk rolled his eyes as he quickly turned around and landed a straight right on Ragyo's face which sent her tumbling backward.
Hawk: "Ryuko! Come get your mother!" As Ragyo stood up again, Ryuko rocketed back into the fight.
Ryuko: "I'm not through with you, you stuck-up bitch!" Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren quickly dropped down and joined Hawk.
Qrow: "Hey! The whole gang's here! Isn't that a hoot?"
Pyrrha: "Hawk? What's the plan? Do you want us to subdue him?"
Hawk: "No. He's half-baked."
Nora: "Well, that's a bit rude. Don't you think?"
Hawk: "I mean, Qrow here wasn't as brainwashed as you or Ren. Am I right?"
Qrow: "Hmph. I'm not gonna say you're wrong. You could say I got this itching in the back of my head to run you through with my blade. Don't know why, but it feels like the thing to do."
Hawk: "Very well then. I guess we have to settle this old Branwen way. Pyrrha. Take Nora and Ren and handle the tower."
Pyrrha: "Are you sure?"
Hawk: "Don't you worry? As my father just said earlier, we're going to have some father-son bonding." Pyrrha places a kiss on his cheek as she and the other two head to take down the transmitter tower.
Qrow: "Geez. Took them long enough. Ready?" Taking a combat stance reminiscent of the one he took so long ago.
Hawk: "Whenever you are, old man." He shrugs his shoulders a bit as he raises his fist, ready to fight.
The two slowly circle around each other, waiting for the other to make the first move. Qrow moves first, though, as he blitzes Hawk's right side, then quickly switching to attack his left, which had been open to attack. But it was simply a ploy as Hawk blocks with his left greave. Qrow transforms Harbinger into a scythe as he pulls Hawk's left leg, trying to trip him up, but Hawk counters by doing a backflip. Kicking Qrow in the face with his extended right foot as he flipped.
