Chapter 23: Culture and Sports Grand Festival

Hawk: "So uh...what're we watching?"

The group stands around a small screen as they watch what seemed to be a large gathering taking place at Honnouji Academy.

Aikuro: "We're looking through the live feed of the hidden cameras I set up at the academy."

Tsumugu: "This thing must be really big if they got Ragyo Kiryuin coming."

As they continue to change cameras, they soon spot what appear to be trucks in mass heading into the academy.

Pyrrha: "What's with all the trucks?"

Tsumugu: "Those are all Life Fibers. What do they need all those fibers for?"

Aikuro: "Because Ragyo's coming to conduct her final experiment."

Ryuko: "Huh?"

Aikuro: "The Academy is a testing ground for Life Fibers. The first part was figuring out how to make Goku Uniforms wearable. The second was tweaking them so they could be used for combat and used them to conquer every school in the country. And with them all being forced to wear Life Fibers, they'll be offered up as sacrifices to the Life Fibers."

Hawk: "That's not good."

Ryuko: "If everyone is gonna get eaten by the Life Fibers in attendance, then that means Mako's whole family will as well!"

Pyrrha: "I mean, yes, but isn't that a bit selfish to only think of them instead of all the other people?"

Ryuko: "Screw that! I'm not going to let that happen!"

Dante(mental): "Hell yeah, girl! Go get them!"

Aikuro: "Jumping head first into the jaws of death again?"

Ryuko: "Damn right, but I'm gonna go down their throat and rip their guts out with my teeth!"

Hawk: "Not alone, your not. We're coming with you...But, uh, I'm not doing the whole ripping their guts out with my teeth thing." Pyrrha shoots Ryuko a confident thumbs up.

Aikuro: "Well, then it looks like we're all going. We better get a move on then."

8 Hours Later, Honno City

The team of Ryuko, Hawk, Pyrrha, Aikuro, Mako, and Tsumugu arrive right outside the Sports and Cultural Festival Arena. Pyrrha tightly held onto Hawk as he barely managed to stop the motorbike they had ridden in on.

Pyrrha: "Okay, remind me to get ourselves driving classes after this."

Vergil(mental): "How is it that you can cut a building in half without trying, yet you can't drive."

Hawk: "Agreed."

Aikuro: "Everyone ready?" They look up as they hear screaming from inside the arena.

Ryuko: "I don't think we have a choice. Come on!" Aikuro opens the trailer he had brought with them to reveal a large Nudist Beach mech.

Aikuro: "Behold, my DTR! This'll get us inside the arena."

Ryuko: "Dotonbori Robo?"

Aikuro: "DTR."

Hawk: "Down To Rock?"

Aikuro: "DTR!!"

Pyrrha: "Downtown Rebel?"

Tsumugu: "Enough! Let's get going!" The group says bye to Mako as they hop on the DTR as it skyrockets over the outer wall.
