Pyrrha: "Hawk. You have told me some rather strange things during our time together. But this. This isn't funny."
Pyrrha sits on the tatami mat in the Mankanshoku household. She looks toward Hawk, who is sitting next to her. He has several bandages across his body and numerous band-aids on parts of his body that weren't even hurt, but he didn't mind.
It had been around two days since the Sudden Death Election Runoff. While the school was being prepared, Satsuki had doubled her forces activity. She was planning for something Mako called "The Raid Trip." Ryuko, on the other hand, had seemed to enter a depressed state. She was less motivated and refused to wear Senkestu. She even went so far as to hang the suit up next to Hawk's artificial Kamui.
The discussion Hawk had with Pyrrha to catch her up on what she had gotten herself into was not an easy one. Hawk earning himself an almost permanent stay in the dog house for now.
Hawk: "Pyrrha. I know how serious what I'm saying is. But I wouldn't make this up. It was them. Nora. Ren. They're both here." Pyrrha rubs her eyes as she stands up.
Pyrrha: "Okay. So if it is them, how can we find them?"
Hawk: "I don't know. But the person they were with knows. We can start there."
Pyrrha: "And who was that?"
Hawk: "She went by Nui Harime. And Satsuki Kiryuin knows her." Pyrrha nods as she picks up Yamato.
Pyrrha: "Good then, let's go."
Hawk: "Wait. That's...not a good idea. As you can clearly see, I'm out of a weapon. Also, I don't think it's a good idea to leave Ryuko here alone."
Pyrrha: "Well. Not necessarily." Using Yamato, she opens a gold portal. Reaching in, she pulls out a long case. "I didn't plan on bringing this because you always seem to have things handled, but I suppose there's a first time for everything. Here." She smiles as she hands Hawk the case.
Hawk kisses Pyrrha on the cheek as he takes the case from her, to which as blushes a little. Placing it on the ground, he clicks the case open to see his Ol' Reliable: Jetstream.
Jetstream was the first and only sword Hawk had ever designed by himself. With a built-in trigger system on the sheath matching his mother's own sword. But unlike Omen's original trigger system, which allowed it to switch between different Dust types. Jetstream's trigger caused the sheath to shoot the blade out toward where Hawk directed, creating a very deadly quick draw. The true power of Jetstream, however, was in its blade. Hawk designed the sword to be a High-frequency blade. In short, this allowed the sword to cut through most, if not any, material as long as a flow of electricity was run throughout the blade.
Hawk: "And here I thought I wouldn't need this. But I guess this world had other plans."
Pyrrha: "You're talking about those..um...Fiber thingies? Right?"
Hawk: "Fiber-Thingies. I'll make sure to quote you on that." Pyrrha pouts toward Hawk. "Hehe. It's all good. I get what you mean. Life Fibers are what they're called. And yes, those are what I was talking of. Apparently, they can enhance the durability of clothing to be tougher than most conventional materials. Found that out the hard way when Omen turned from a formidable sword into nothing more than a baseball bat."
Pyrrha: "Is that why you chose to turn Omen into that other sword you had when I got here?"
Hawk: "Yes and no. To keep it simple, I had to get creative. But now that you mention it, Dust did seem to affect Life Fiber outfits. I could work with that."
