Your friends started piling on Red Son simultaneously while you crouched in front of him, casting him a suspicious stare his way. Next to you, MK courageously stayed by your side, ready to defend you if Red Son attempted to approach you.

"What are you doing here, Red Son?" MK scowled.

Mei then joined the two of you, clenching her fist tightly, "Yeah! Spill! You're one of the Spider Queen's henchmen now, huh?!"

When the others made the decision to investigate him, you tried to analyze the situation.

Red Son will never yield to that loathsome Araneae.

He is far too egotistic to give in to her.

Furthermore, his unhappy yet enraged look shows his burning desire to get revenge on Spider Queen.

Maybe it's because his father got involved?

Perhaps that is the case.

However, who are you to decide whether your guess are right or wrong?

"I don't think so, Mei." You smirked, confident that your assumption was correct, "There must be something related to his loved one getting caught by the Spider Queen."

After you said that, Red Son's eyes widened before settling into a more struggled expression.

"Damn it," He muttered before bursting into flames, throwing everyone on top of him flying.

That led everyone to huddle behind you as they each prepared their own weapons in front of them.

"Trying to be clever, are you?" Red Son scowled at you, but after a while, his expression softened and he briefly revealed his vulnerable side.

This definitely means that you must have guessed it correctly.

But soon, he snapped back to reality and glared, "Not that any of you would care but my father was captured by that eight-legged freak!" Red Son stated, his hair flickering in rage, "So, if you'll excuse me, I'll just steal this ship and be on my way."

"Wait, what?!" Mei decided to respond before she was interrupted by Red Son's loud and long groan.

"Fine!! Will you let me steal your ship so I can go save my father and also the world from this spider menace... please?"

That definitely sounds like sarcasm! Red Son clearly comes out as very rude, so certain individuals just points accusingly in his direction, while the rest yells.

"Are you serious?!"

"You can't steal the ship!"

"Pretty convincing..."
