The feeling of helplessness lingered.

There are still nightmares about the creepy lady, blue flames, and more audible whispers inside your head.

As the night went on, your nightmare consistently grew more vivid each time you dozed off in your cozy bed.

You discovered yourself in an eerie forest with odd, enormous trees all around you. The ground felt like it was moving beneath your feet, and the air was thick with dampness.

You heard odd noises all around you as you staggered into the woodland.

Strange howls resounded in the darkness, branches snapped and creaked.

You had a feeling that someone was watching you, but you were unable to spot anything despite your best efforts to search.

It's unsettling.

You tried so damn hard to scream, to reach out to someone — do ANYTHING to help yourself — but nothing came out of your mouth.

Your breath became more ragged, sweat poured down your forehead, and goosebumps flared all over your body due to the frigid temperature.

At one point, out of the shadows, you heard a raspy, low voice calling out to you.

It seems to come at once from all directions.

"Welcome, my dear fox. I see that you've returned once more."

You attempted to run, but your legs refused.

Heart racing in your chest, you loathe being alone.

You could not stand it at all.

"The nightmare repeats itself. Aren't you tired of this?"
