"Feyre, please, you need to go right now," Daemon pleaded with his wife as he watched her hunch over in pain with every contraction.

"I am not leaving my daughter," Feyre groaned, "I am staying right here."

Rhaenyra rubbed Feyre's back, "Feyre, you are in your labors; you need to go have your baby."

Feyre shook her head, "I can't leave her, Nyra. I do not want her to be alone."

"Daemon and I will stay with her," Rhaenyra assured her, "Now will you please go have your child?"

"Please, Feyre," Daemon chimed in.

Feyre thought about it for a moment, but when she looked at Aemma. Feyre knew that she would be no help to her in pain, "All right."

"Good," Maester Orlo spoke up, "We should begin preparing your chambers for the birth, my lady."

"Oh no, you're staying here," Feyre asserted, "In fact, I want every maester in this damn island to be in here attending to my daughter."

"You cannot give birth alone," Daemon looked at his wife like she grew two heads.

"She will not be alone, my prince," Corrine stood by Feyre's side, "I've been with Lady Feyre for her past two births; I will not leave her side."

Feyre smiled and gripped Corrine's hand. But her smile soon turned into a frown as another contraction began.

"Go now," Daemon commanded, "I'll gather all the maesters."

Feyre kept her eyes on Aemma as Corrine led her out of the room, never letting her out of her sight until she turned the corner.

Alicent stood in front of Aegon's door. She didn't even bother to knock as she just opened the door to a shocking sight. Her eldest son was caught in a warm embrace with Deric, a squire.

"Mother!" Aegon pulled away from Deric, "Can't you knock?"

"I need to speak to you, Aegon," Alicent glanced over at the squire, "Alone."

Deric bowed his head and scurried out of the room, much to Aegon's disappointment, "What could be so important that you had to barge into my room?"

Alicent moved to opened Aegon's trunk, "You need to pack your things."

"What, why?" Aegon's brows furrowed as he watched his mother go through his things, "Mother, what is going on?"

"You and your siblings are going to Dragonstone," Alicent told him as she stuffed a bag with clothes, "Your dragons will be saddled and waiting for you in the Dragonpit."

Aegon felt so confused, "Why are we fleeing?"

"Because now your father is dead, and your grandfather let his pride poison his morals and he did something stupid," Alicent handed Aegon the bag, "I fear that if I do not get your siblings and yourself out of King's Landing, he will try to use you to usurp the throne."

Aegon couldn't believe it. He always thought that his mother wanted him to take the throne and keep Rhaenyra from ever being Queen. Now she was basically telling him to run away.

"...When do we leave?"

Alicent sighed in relief, "Midnight, under the cover of the dark."

Feyre hated her life right now, "Why won't it come out?"

"You're almost there, Lady Feyre," Corrine said from the foot of the bed, "You just need to dilate a bit more."
