Aemond Targaryen was over the moon. For years, he thought that he would be without a dragon for the rest of his days, but the gods have smiled down upon him. Now, he rides Vhagar.

He hadn't originally meant to make a claim at Vhagar. Aemond was mostly curious about the she-dragon resting on the beaches of Driftmark. Before he knew it, Aemond was flying through the sky on the largest dragon in the world.

That was almost an hour ago. Now,  Aemond walked through the caves, head held high. His celebration was put on hold as he was met with the faces of his nephews, Aemma, and Laena Velaryon's daughters.

"It's him," Baela shouted.

Aemond smirked, "It's me."

Baela glared at the boy, "Vhagar is my mother's dragon!"

"Your mother's dead," Aemond shrugged, "And Vhagar has a new rider now."

"She was mine to claim!" Rhaena felt anger and sadness boil inside her; how dare he take what was hers to claim?

"Then you should have claimed her," Aemond chuckled, "Maybe your cousins can find you a pig to ride. It would suit you."

"Aemond," Aemma's eyes were wide as she stared at him, "You had no right to make a claim at Vhagar; you stole her from Rhaena!"

"Don't speak of things that you don't know of," Aemond shouted at her, "You stupid girl!"

Rhaena launched herself at the prince, but Aemond knocked her down. Baela went to defend her sister, punching Aemond in the face. Aemond cried out in pain and punched her back, making Baela fall to the ground.

"Baela!" Aemma kneeled by her cousin, checking over her.

"Come at me again," Aemond challenged, "And I'll feed you to my dragon!"

Jace let out a yell and landed a punch on Aemond. The two boys fight each other before Aemond kicks Jace to the ground. Luke tried to aid his big brother, but was punched in the nose, breaking it.

As she watched the blood flow down from Luke's nostrils, Aemma felt anger rise up within her. No one hurts her little brother and gets away with it.

The girl launched at Aemond, knocking him down as she continued to land punch after punch at his face. Jace, Baela, and Rhaena join her, all ganging up on the prince.

Aemond grunted as he took each blow. He gathered as much strength as he could and kicked all of them off of him. He saw Luke running at him and grabbed the young boy's neck. Luke struggled, wheezing as Aemond tightened his hold.

Aemond used his free hand to grab a rock, "You will die screaming in flames...just as your father did! Bastards."

"My father's still alive," Luke cried.

Aemond scoffed and looked at Jace, "He doesn't know, does he, Lord Strong?"

Jace doesn't answer him, only unsheathing a dagger. He charges at Aemond, grabbing Luke and throwing him behind him. Aemma took Luke into her arms, keeping him away.

Aemond landed a hard punch to Jace's face, knocking him to the dirt floor. While Jace was disoriented, Aemond raised the rock, ready to do whatever he had to in order to keep his dragon.

What he didn't notice was Luke grabbing the dagger that had fallen. Seeing this, Jace throws a handful of dirt in Aemond's face, throwing him off before Luke cut Aemond's eye.

Aemond's wailing is what caught the Kingsguard's attention and Ser Harrold Westerling ran into the caves with some guards, "Cease this at once!"
