The tension between John and Emily had been growing day by day, and John was struggling to keep his composure around her. Every time he saw her, his heart raced and his palms became sweaty. He couldn't deny that he was still attracted to her, even though he knew it was wrong.
One afternoon, John was sitting in his office, trying to focus on work, when Emily walked in. She was wearing a fitted, knee-length dress that hugged her curves in all the right places, and her long hair was styled into loose waves. As soon as John saw her, he felt a wave of desire wash over him.
"Hey, John," Emily purred as she walked towards his desk. "I just wanted to check in and see how the project is coming along."
John couldn't help but notice the way her voice seemed to vibrate through his body, and the way her eyes sparkled in the sunlight. He cleared his throat and tried to sound professional as he replied, "It's going well, thanks for asking. We're making good progress."
Emily leaned over his desk, giving him a tantalising view of her cleavage. "You know, John, I think you work too hard," she said, placing her hand on his arm. "Why don't we take a break and grab a drink? I think we could both use a little relaxation."
John hesitated for a moment, but the temptation was too great. He found himself nodding before he even realised what he was doing. "That sounds like a good idea," he said, standing up and following her out of the office.
As they walked towards the elevator, John couldn't help but feel a little guilty. He was married, after all, and he shouldn't be feeling this way about his wife's boss. But he couldn't deny that he was excited at the prospect of spending time alone with Emily. As they stepped into the elevator and the doors closed behind them, he felt a thrill of anticipation run through him.
