Miho lifted her head up from the snow and looked at the aurora.
"The lights..." She muttered.
She was amazed but then remembered with the wolves.
She quickly stood up and grabbed her stuff before walking away from the trolly, searching for the bear on the way.
Miho noticed the lights, the electrical lights, were on.
As Miho walked, she noticed a fire burning ahead.
"Is that a... campfire?" She asked.
When she approached, she noticed it was Methuselah.
She sighed. Almost in annoyance and relief, it was somebody she recognized.
She sat down next to the fire as Methuselah looked at her.
"How goes the war, my friend?" He asked.
"War?"
"The war between man and nature. The lights and the sky. You and the bear. Cold. Hunger. The old fights returning." He explained.
"There was a bear. Did you scare it away?" Miho asked.
"There was no bear when I found you. Perhaps it isn't time for your paths to cross yet."
"What do you mean?" Miho asked.
"You'll see when it happens." He said.
"I'm sorry, Mister Methuselah, but I have to go. I need to find something." She said.
"I understand. You are completing your journey with you and the bear." He said.
Miho stood up, waving at him.
"Bye."
"Goodbye."
Ahe walked away towards the maintenance yard.
As Miho walked, she heard a bark.
She quickly grabbed her rifle and aimed it at the wolf.
The wolf charged at her before stopping, turning tail and sprinting away and whimpering.
Miho stared, confused before hurrying to the maintenance yard building.
Miho walked through the door, picking up anything she had seen any use for.
Not much food but a lot of firewood and Tinder.
Miho walked inside the maintenance shed, looking around and looting the shed.
She stared at the forge briefly, having a feeling she would need it.
After looting, Miho left the maintenance shed and walked through the back, past scrap metal and vehicles, walking to a frozen lake.
She stared at the mountain, where she suspected the lodge to be.
Shouldering her rifle, she walked along the lake bed to a bridge.
She walked across and walked to a chainlink gate.
She pushed it open and walked through and up the mountain path.
Miho made it to the top, turning the corner to see the lodge, staring at it in amazement.
"I bet this was nice once." She said, walking up the hill and into the lodge.
She walked inside, looking around the house to see it was mostly empty with wood planks scattered about with a wooden stove in the corner.
Miho turned to see a broken spear on the wall.
