You Or Me

Miho's eyes slowly opened, a sharp pain in the back of her head and all around her body.

She groaned, putting her hands on her head.

She lifted her head up to see the Old Bear just standing several feet away.

Her heart sank as she suddenly realized the situation she was in.

Miho looked around and saw tree roots hanging down a ledge.

Miho slowly climbed to her feet, crouching low to not raise detection.

Slowly, she moved to the ledge before reaching it.

She looked behind to see the bear eating a carcass before she started her climb.

Miho quickly climbed up before the bear noticed and slowly moved away.

"My spear." She whispered, moving through the narrow cave corridors.

Miho came upon a large chamber with the Bear walking down below.

"I'm so dead." She muttered before walking to the ledge and climbed down.

Slowly, she moved to a large rock formation with a small hole to climb in.

Fortunately, Miho was small enough to climb under the rock and listen for the bear.

Large paw prints moved right in front of her as she covered her mouth, staring at them as they moved by.

After some time, Miho crawled out from under the rock and looked around, slowly moving to the next rock formation.

The sound of the bear roaring sent her body into flight as she bolted, falling to her belly and sliding under the rock and into a long, narrow, rocky corridor.

Miho jumped to her feet, hurrying down the corridor to meet another chamber.

The bear was nowhere until he found Miho as she ran to the hole in the ground, crawling inside and through another narrow cave corridor.

This time, she could see the spear stabbed into the ground.

"The spear." She muttered, climbing down.

She hurried towards it when the bear walked above the tall snow, standing on its hind legs and roared.

Miho stopped in her tracks, sprinting to a hiding spot under the rocks.

The bear reached under the rocks, trying to grab Miho with its large paws.

Miho kicked away at the bear, kicking its paws.

The bear stepped away and walked out of sight.

After a few minutes of waiting, Miho peeked out of the hiding spot, looking at the spear.

"Now or never." She muttered.

She jumped to her and sprinted to the spear, grabbing it as she listened to the bear huffing behind her.

Miho spun around, falling on her back as the bear opened its mouth to bite.

Miho stabbed the inside of the bear's mouth, causing it to recoil back and roar at her.

Miho crawled away until she hit a rock and was stuck.

The bear charged, raising its front legs and coming down on Miho.

It would have been the perfect kill if it hadn't put its paws on the rock behind Miho, revealing its chest.

Miho stabbed the chest, making the bear roar in pain and jump over her and the rock.
