Chapter 17: Battle on the Edge Part 2

You and Hiccup flew to the cages at the back of the armada and started to blast them to force the mind controlled dragons to either be freed by the hunters or from your dragon blasts so they would chase you and Hiccup so Snotlout and Fishlegs can do their thing.

There was a big variety of dragons but the majority were Whispering Death titanwings, there was also a chain heading into the water and the chain was both dragon proof and incredibly thick meaning it was attached to something massive.

Sure enough the hunters released the dragons after a short time of us blasting the ships and you counted at least 43 dragons among which 25 were Whispering Death titanwings. You said to Hiccup "Well we got their attention, now what?" He replied "Now we lure them to melody island, and hope that Garf is able to subdue them". You asked "Won't He try to eat them? And what about the other Deathsong?" Hiccup replied "Don't worry I'll calm them down and try to explain to not eat them, maybe Garf will understand and stop the other Deathsong as well". You said "Okay than let's do it".

The dragons flew towards you and Hiccup quickly started to fly towards Melody island. You flew behind Hiccup and occasionally shot blasts at the dragons, at first you were worried they would turn their attention elsewhere but apparently Sygurn had pinned them all on you.

The dragons were all blasting their fires at you and Hiccup and for the most part you 2 managed to avoid them, however the Whispering Death titanwings were faster and eventually caught up, one tried to bite Storm's tail but you dived right at the last minute, Hiccup and you had been separated at this point with the majority of the Whispering deaths titanwings after you and the other dragons after him.

Ahead of you another island appeared with a large number of sea stacks around it and a fog as well as wierd sounds which disturbed Storm, you quickly flew towards the center of the island and landed next to Hiccup (he had already reached there) behind you the dragons approached hastily but suddenly 2 massive shadows appeared from behind as massive yellow coloured dragons which were absolutely ginormous rose from the fog and started to shoot down the dragons.

Both of the Deathsongs knew Hiccup so he didn't have to worry, however one of the Deathsong flew straight towards you after finishing off the other dragons, intending on trapping you as well. But Hiccup came infront of you and calmed them. He said to you "I'll deal with them, you have to leave because their more hostile than usual, go help the others, try to find and capture Sygurn, go!'.

You quickly took off flying above the 43 dragons covered in hardened amber. You flew back to the ships and located the head ship which was twice as big as the other ships and had a black sail on it with the image of a person riding a Screaming Death sewn on it with white and red colour.

On the ship you saw Viggo on an orange Singetail talking to Sygurn who was standing next to the ground wearing the same armour and cloak as well as a warhammer across his back, there were a large amount of soldiers there with crossbows and axes.

The hunters spotted you and shouted. Sygurn and Viggo both turned towards you and Sygurn shouted out "Aah welcome Axel, I hope you are enjoying our pleasant invasion, its about to become a whole lot better, don't worry." He than motioned his hand at Viggo than at me. And Viggo took off into the air straight towards me.

Now Viggo on a singetail would be no problem for Stormstriker but with millions of arrows and several fire covered stones being shot at you, you had no choice but to fly up into the clouds, you expected the Singetail to fall back as they were not great fans of altitude but the dragon kept flying after you, this meant that the mind controlling elixir was way stronger than the dragons weaknesses.

You heard Viggo say "I'm rather disappointed Hiccup didn't expect us, have our games of maces and talons taught him nothing". You said "He's every bit smarter than you". But Viggo chuckled and started to fire at you.
