Part 54

Freen's POV

Tim's a mess. We are still gathered here in the cafeteria. I wanted answers and I want it now.

Freen: (serious voice) Tim, what's your relationship with Yuki?

Tim is silent and she's still crying hard. I am patiently waiting for her response but all I can hear from her are sobs and cries that made me annoyed.

Freen: (annoyed) Do you have plans to answer me?

Kate: Don't raise your voice, Freen. She's hurt. Yuki and Tim are lovers, okay.

I stopped asking since Rebecca is signaling me to stop and wait. Tim calmed down a little after some time so I suggested we go to the gym since our class already started. We are quiet and waiting for Tim to explain.

Tim: (serious voice) Yuki and I been together for 3 months. Yesterday, she went to my place. Everything was great, we even made love for the first time. I woke up earlier than she is so I went and had a shower. When I went out I saw her holding my phone and her eyes looked surprised that she dropped my phone. She froze, I picked my phone and saw a bug being installed.

She started crying again after. "What the hell she just finished crying a while ago. How much tears does she have to produce? I hate it when people don't finish what they started." I hid my annoyance and impatience. Finally Jim continued her explanation.

Jim: Tim called me and I asked Dad about the bug that she's installing and Dad told me it's the kind of bug that gives access to everything and anything in Tim's phone. Her camera serves as eyes and the mic serves as ears. The bug can access Tim's location, read messages, tapped every call and can even access banks.

"That's a relief" Meaning Tim did not help Yuki at all. All the tension I felt was immediately gone after hearing that. Finally I was able to breathe.

Tim: I was just so mad, we had a heated argument and I even broke up with her. The last time we talked, the last time we saw each other I said words that I didn't mean to. I hurt her and now she's gone.

Tim bursts into tears so the gang comforted her. It pains me to see her hurt.

Jim: Don't worry we will know Yuki's motive behind, Dad already conducted an investigation.

We stayed silent, sadness and questions were written all over their faces. "If only they knew that Grandma used Yuki to spy on me, and Yuki used Tim. Too bad, Tim loved Yuki."  I was enjoying my peace when Jim told me to accompany her to the comfort room. She dragged me away from the group.

Jim: I know that this is not the right time to ask especially that someone is dead. To hell with it. When is the wedding?

Freen: (confused) Wedding? What wedding?

Jim: Kirk message me, he said you want me to be the witness of your wedding with Rebecca. Since when did you became her fiance? Why are you not there when I went to the hotel?

Freen: (nervous laugh) Oh, about that. Kirk just messing with you.

Jim: (angry) That honk!! He lied to me?! That's not funny at all. His lucky that his handsome. Tell him he owes me a date with an apology.

Freen: If you like I can also tell him that you like him.

Jim: Duuuhhh. I just want to eat into a fancy restaurant without spending money. Free food, it's way more delicious that way. Tell him he owes me a gift.

Freen: (giggling) Okay, I'll tell him that. I apologized for the confusion Jim.

Jim: (smiling) I'll be the maid of honor when you get married and we're good.
