Part 76

Liza's POV

Rebecca often messaged me since she's been staying at Freen's mansion. I can't help but think that Chankimha's is using Rebecca but for what? I knew from the moment she received the files containing evidence of Kirk and Freen's doing. I'm not sure if it's a different person or if it's the Chankimha themselves. I am aware that Grandma protects Freen with all the resources she has so I don't think this is her doing. I can't think of other enemies that can harm Freen. All of them are scared so who is behind all of this?

I kept in touch with Rebecca to make sure of her safety and I think she's fine. I admit it's lonely being alone here but it's fine. I was having my coffee when I was surprised to see Becky in the front gate. I immediately went to the front door. I miss her and I'm happy to see her. She opened the door and she's been sweating a lot and she's panting hard. She's on foot and I see how angry she is. I called her name in worry and luckily i caught her on time before falling so she didn't hurt herself. I'm really glad she's small. I carried her to her room and laid her there. I immediately called the maid to prepare cold water and a towel cause Becky is burning hot. I removed all her clothes and began wiping her all over and I put on some pajamas after. I stayed in her room for an hour before leaving her for a while.

I went to the kitchen and there I saw a USB and Becky's phone. "Becky must be holding this" I took the USB and put it beside her along with her phone. She might look for it and I can't manage her to be hysterical.  I'm curious what got all her stress that she's having another attack. I want to look at the USB she got but I see that she's still unconscious and I don't want to intrude. "I will sleep with her tonight"

I woke up and it's already morning. Becky has been sweating so I told the maid to change the sheets. I also changed her clothes and ordered the maid to cook food for Becky. I grabbed her medicine and prepared it beforehand for her to take. Her phone has been ringing non stop but I didn't dare answer it even if it's Freen who's calling. A few minutes later my phone is ringing.

Liza: Hello.

Freen: (worried) Liza, is Becky there?

Liza: She's home. She's sick at the moment. What happened?

Freen: (sighed) Is she okay? We had a fight and I just went out cause Nini wanted me to tell me something important and when I came back she was already gone.

Liza: (mad) You do know she has Psychogenic fever right?! How could you be so reckless Freen?!!! Leaving her behind like that!

Freen: (crying) I'm sorry Liz. It was just for 45 minutes. I left her before on my room and never bad happened. Is she okay? Why did she leave? Does she still want to be with me?

I calmed down cause I know that she's hurting as well. I can sense the pain and worry in her voice.

Liza: She'll be okay, Freen. I'll take care of her.

Freen: (relieved) Thank you. I owe you much.

Liza: You don't owe me anything Freen. Were not just using each other anymore. I have her back and I hate the fact that you left her alone for your Nini.

I ended the call and started taking care of Becky. I wake her up from time to time to feed her and make her drink medicine. It's been two days and now she's gaining back her strength. I immediately hugged her out of happiness.

Liza: You made me worry again.

Becky: (weak voice) Thank you for taking care of me.

Liza: (smiling) Not a problem at all. You know that you're like a sister to me right?
