Conflict has scorched the galaxy between the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic for almost a whole year since the Battle of Geonosis. The Jedi have been engaged into military service, thus granting ANAKIN SKYWALKER the promotion to both the rank of Jedi Knight and that of Jedi General over the 501st Clone Trooper Battalion.
The war's end is not in sight, but rather it threatens taking unfavorable turns for the Republic between the Separatist technological advances turning campaigns tediously burdened with casualties beyond count and the rise of the Dark Side amongst the many crimes reported across the galaxy.
