The Forgotten Prince

Part 14

Theo's Pov

Feeling a pain course through my body, I release a groan , trying to get my eyes open. I hear a loud beeping next to me, but I'm just focusing on forcing my eyes to open .

"What's happening?" I hear somebody yell , hearing more footsteps come closer and closer. I keep trying to open my eyes .

"He's waking up," another voice says calmer . With one final push, I finally am able to slowly open my eyes . As I see bright light shine into my eyes, I blink a couple of times with some pained groans, leaving my lips .

"Take it easy, Theo," I hear somebody say , but it kinda falls to deaf ears as I try to sit up, but I regret it soon as almost unbearable pain runs through my body .

"Fuck" I practically yell as I fall back on the bed. Seeing blonde hair come into view I see Clarke with a cub .

"You need rest Theo , here drink " she says as she puts the cup to my lips ,  finishing the water that was in the cup she places it down somewhere and I soflty grab her hand .

"T-thank you " I whisper as I intertwine our hands together, seeing her take a seat on a chair from the corner of my eyes she gives me a small smile  . But I can see  it's a fake one .

"Where's Lexa " I groan out and I see a frown make it's way on the girls face .

"Alot has happend Theo " Clarke whispers as she disconnects our hands, grinding my teeth together I bite trough the pain and slowly but surely sit up .

"What do you mean ?" I whisper as  I'm practically bitting the inside of my cheek because of the pain .

"S-she's dead " Clarke whispers with tears in her eyes and my eyes widen .

"L-lexa ?" I ask her and she slowly nods her head as tears fall from her eyes .

"What happened, Clarke ?" I whisper as I take her hand,  and with that, she starts explaining that after they got me to Arkadia, a shit tone of things happened. Clarke and Lexa had to head back to Polis, and her Fleimkepa tried to kill Clarke because of how close she was with Lexa.  But he hit Lexa instead, and she didn't survive it . And this whole stuff with the city or light or how she wants to call it . And the whole shit with my mother having another Natblida that tried to take power after Lexa's death and killed the young Natblidas. 

"I-i broke my promise," I whisper as I look down on the bracelet on my wrist. 

"Look at me, Theo," Clarke says as she gently takes my cheeks and forces me to look at her .

"I-its not your fault," she whispered with tears falling from her eyes . Lifting my arm up, I place it on her cheek and wipe her tears away with my thumb.  Searching her eyes, I see there's something else , she's holding something behind .

"There's more," I say as my eyes keep searching hers . As Clarke nods her head, she takes a deep breath and starts to explain what was told to her in the city of light . As she finishes explaining it, my eyes widen .

"We're all gonna die ?" I breathe out as I run my hand through my hair .

"We will find a way, Theo," Clarke says as she gives me a forced smile . Looking around the room, I have no idea where I am .

"Where are we ?" I quistion her as I push through the pain and stand up , almost stumbling forward. Clarke wraps my arm around her shoulder, and I lean some of my body weight in her .

"A lab, you were out for almost 3 months it was safer for you if we took you with us," Clarke says as she walks us through a door . I've been out for 3 months shit .
