The Forgotten Prince

Part 57

Theo's Pov,

Coming to the other side, sobs leave my lips as tears still run down my face . I shot him , I killed Bellamy, and I couldn't even get the book.

"Theo what happend?" Madi asks me as she tries to approach me, but I just back away from her.

"W-where are we ?" I almost sob out as I look around the concrete walls.

"The Second Dawn Bunker." Indra states.

"Otherwise known as Hell." Jackson says, and I wipe away the tears that leave my eyes.

"This place is perfect for you." Bill says, and  i see him take some sort of pill.

"Nano-tracking program. What is it, you say? May we meet again." Bill says before taking the pill and disappearing.

"Theo." I hear someone breathe out, and soon a body crashes into mine.

"C-clarke." I almost whisper as I look down at the blonde in my arms.

"I-i need Octavia and Echo." I breathe out as I pull away from Clarke.

"What's wrong ?" Clarke asks me, but I shake my head. I killed her best friend for nothing.

"Follow me." Gaia says and I start walking after her, as we emerge from the bunker I look around with wide eyes the earth it's green, trees everywhere and just so lifefull.

"It's so green." Madi says from beside me.

Seeing the others also emerge from the bunker we walk over to some small kind of camp and everyone starts catching up while I stay about 20 yards away from them, how am I gonna tell them I just killed Bellamy.  How would they ever forgive me for what I've done .

"Where's Bellamy?" I hear Echo asks, and tears start to leave my eyes again as I slowly walk over to the group.

"H-hes dead." I choke out, and all eyes widen .

"Bellamy? Theo, he was fine when we left. I'm a little confu-. " Murphy starts, but I soon cut him off.

"I killed him." 

"I-i didn't wanna do it, I tried, but I really tried. He found my sketchbook, Bill would have found out I still have the memories. I-i tried to reason with him . I'm sorry." I sob out seeing Octavia walk over to me. I start backing away from her, but she soon wraps her arms around me .

"I understand. So would the old Bellamy. The one that would do anything for his baby sister and the people he loved." Octavia says, and  I just sob into her.

Feeling Octavia pull away from me,  my eyes meet Echo's.

"Y-you can hate me if you want . I know I do." I say as I wipe away my tears.

"We lost him a long time ago. He needed all this chaos to make sense, all the violence, all the people we've killed. He couldn't accept that it's all meaningless. Cadogan gave him meaning, and that meaning is what killed him... not you." Echo says as she walks over to me, and soon I feel her wrap her arms around me.

"I-im sorry." I whisper, and soon I feel Octavia also wrap her arms around us.

Pulling away from the two, I start walking away from the group, walking through the forest. I eventually reach a river and sit down against a tree.

Pulling my knees to my chest, I lay my head on them and start taking heavy breaths.

I've killed him, Bellamy, who first didn't trust me, but eventually, after everything became my friend. I didn't want to do it. I pleaded with him to give me the book. Bill will get us all killed,I just wanted to protect everyone.
