Theo's Pov,

Shooting up, I frantically look around me and see I'm in the lab . Looking beside me, i see Madi lying on a bed . No.

"What have they done?" I yell as I quickly get up and move over to the girl .

"Madi," I say as my panick filled eyes move over her closed ones.

"Theo," Madi groans out as her eyes slowly blink open.

"I-im here, little one," I whisper. Seeing her eyes close again, I feel tears run down my face.

"And what is this?" I hear a voice, and when I turn around, I see Josephine and Russel walk in .

"This is how we make hosts." Russel states, and I see him motion over to the thing that's taking Madi's blood. No, they can't do this .

"You're using my daughter's bone marrow. " I bite his way, and he slowly nods his head.

"C-clarke," Madi groans out, and I protectively stand in front of the girl .

"No. It's not. She put up a good fight, though, kid. Can't win them all." Josephine says with a big smile on her face.

Hearing Madi trash in the bed, I see Josephine walk over and put a tranquilizer in the girl.

"Hmm. How many doses can we get out of her before she dies? You know what? Never mind. It's time for my new drive. Being mortal sucks." Josephine says as she walks back over to Russel .

"I'm gonna kill you ." I say with a smirk as my eyes meet Russel.

"Think about your people, Theo."Russel says, and I scoff st his words.

"I'm gonna make you wish for dead before I give it to you, I'll show you the man my mother wanted me to bed. The second you layed your hands on my daughter." I bite his way, and I see fear take over his face.

"I can order my men to kill you right now. The only reason you're still here is because of your use." Josephine says with a smirk .

"Your men would be dead before they can lay a finger on me." I bite her way.

"Let us all calm down." Russel says, and I send the man a disgusting smirk.

"Gaurds bring the doctors." Russel yells, and soon I see the doors open again. Seeing Raven, Jackson, and Abby walk in, I see Abby's eyes move towards her daughters face .

"Peachy keen Josephine. Oh, stop it. I'm not her." The blonde says as I see tears run down Abby's face.

"I will kill you for this." Abby yells, and Jackson pulls her back.

"Seems like you have to get in line." Josephine says as she points at me . Slowly walking over to the blonde, I see the gaurds point their weapons at me .

"Put your weapons down or die." I state with a shrug as I see them point their staff at me .

"Put them down." Josephine says with a smirk, and I continue to march over to her.

" Josephine," Russel states with wide eyes.

"He won't hurt me because if he does, I'll kill his daughter." Josephine says, and I Humm at her words.

"Funny because you still need me to help you locate the last nighblood on the ship, wake the wrong one up, and they will have your head." I say with a smirk as I stop 5 feet away from the blonde .

"I once believed that I would never stray from the moral path, and then I killed my family in the first eclipse. I'd have done anything to bring them back. So I believe you. How many doses of the serum do you have?" Russel says, and my anger filled eyes move towards his face.
