Chapter 35 Attack on Xyrus academy

Claire Pov:

It has been a few days since the dungeon dive and we have found out about the terrorist attack and Arthur's, Cecilia's and Nico's secret. To Think that they are not human came more then unexpected but that explains their power. They were far smarter, as good as never tired and their control over mana is beyond impressive. But how long did Tessia know?

"Tessia since when did you know that they were not human?"

"Since the verry beginning. After all they came to Elenoir with the mother of Arthur and his little sister."

"Eleanor and Alice Leywin were also there but I thought they were in Xyrus for the entire time."

"She is not talking about aunt Alice she is talking about their blood mother and sibling. The little fox on Arthur's shoulder is his little sister. As far as I know Asura's have a little form, a human form and their real form."

"So they knew about the kids not being their own and still raised them?"

"No if I have been informed correctly then they were born by Alice but she did not conceive them but transported them in some way into my aunt and mother."

"How? Arthur is that some kind of ritual that was made to you? Is that normal?"

"No it wasn't and is not normal. Mother just wanted to hide us since our potential is too big. And please don't speak of her. She is in hiding and we faked her death so that she won't be found by her family or my blood father." At this his fists clenched tight and his face contorted to one of rage. It seems he really hates his family even though he never met them.

"Oh and just so I mentioned it. Do you remember the little cat that I came down months ago and that was never seen before?"

"Yes what about that?"

"It wa-" Arthur was so fast. Too fast for my eyes to follow. He put his hand on princess Tessia's mouth and created a sound barrier before any sound could escape.

"What Tessia wanted to say was that it was Art. He seemed to have unintentionally transformed in his sleep and couldn't transform back." Cecilia finished her remarque. At this Arthur's pride was destroyed. The cute little cat was no other than the all mighty Arthur Leywin. The cat that was dragged around by the princess and the cat that was petted by everyone around. His face flushed in a deep red and everyone could feel how uncomfortable it was.

"Then why did he not say anything? He also told us about it just a few days ago with no problem?"

"I couldn't. I had no control over my vocal cords. I could just claw at you and give kyu like noises. I could have used mana but that would have been dangerous. Plus I did not want to talk about it after the incident." He glared at Cecilia and Tessia when saying that.

We went to the table in the DC hall and started to prepare everything.

Arthur Pov:

"Now let us start. As you can see the plan is for them to attack the tri-union-hall. That is where we will start to take them down one by one. There are artifacts hidden throughout the school that will take photographs if anything happens. If something might happen then the pictures made will be send to this place and printed out so that you can use it without a problem. Take the proof of their actions with you. The problem is that there are also teachers that will try to destroy any argument that you create and that you have no right to take them in without the director allowing it. Due to this we have made a deal with her. The SC president and vice president along with the leader of the DC have the right to decide what to do in a situation of danger. The only problem is that two of you need to be there to make a decision. With other words two of you need to be there when it happens or at least close."

"Then I will b-" I knocked her out. Tess fell forward and I caught her in my arms and laid her down on the sofa. "Sorry for that but she won't participate. As the princess of Elenoir she is a priority target and that is why I will take her with me."

"I understand that you want to protect her but she will not like it and we need a strong mage with us" Said Curtis.

"You are right Curtis. But there is something that I did not want her to hear. Listen to this. My bond used an artifact to catch sound and light and create a movie with it." I played the recordings in which not just Lucas but after some time the scene changed and we all could hear Clive making similar threats. They wanted to use her, abuse her and then get rid of her when she has outlived her usefulness. Everyone was shocked to hear them talking about it.

"Do you understand now why I want her out of here and I couldn't convince her to come with me so I had to knock her out. And I have to go right away. Cynthia is already captured and the lances are on their way to their hide out."

"Then go on. Good luck."

"You too." I took Tessia in a princess carry and activated my realm heart. I used god step to transport all of us, namely Sylvie, Sol, Ombrage and Tess out of Xyrus.

Nico Pov:

"Now that he is gone we have to start with the Preparations. Ast is already here. Ready to protect the students that need protection. Our wyvern will be near the clocktower so that they can act if the situation requires it. Imagine them as our last resource. We will spread out as said. In groups of three. Before anyone says anything we will do that when everything is over. With that I mean the attack on the tri-union-hall. We need Cecil and Claire there to get the professor to act and show their true colours. At the same time we will gather trustworthy teachers like professor Glory. Also we will gather strong students to help us defend the students that are weaker."

"But how do we know who is trustworthy?"

"We have all the information about the attackers. We know everyone that participated in some way or an other. Therefore you can trust those who are not on this list. Just be aware that Clive, Lukas, Draneeve and Kai and don't engage them. Now let us go."

We then went to on our regular rotes of walking through the academy of course Cecilia and myself were not with them since we needed to stay low. Then the others rushed to a blazing building. The tri-union-hall was burning like cinders. It was damn hot but luckily we were there. Clouds started to form and rains pored down just like during a summer day. Soon enough the fire was gone and the DC confronted Charles. He said that he was accused of something that he did not do. That it was a impudence to call him a criminal. He was a noble and we had no right to do anything to him. We then told him that we did indeed have the right to do so as the DC. Some students crowded around us and protested against the aggression of the DC and told us to let him go. Even several professors told us that we couldn't do that. We couldn't treat a student like that. Without evidence and when the director isn't here none the less. That was when Cecil and I showed ourselves.

"Who the hell said that we had no evidence and what right do you have to say something like that the director is not here? Were you perhaps waiting for her to be absent professor?"

"Insolence" he said and tried to hit me. I just used crystal prison and pinned him to the floor with it.

"We do have proof. Take a look at this professor. Look there is not just Charles but there are also other students and even some teachers laying fire to the building I think that is enough proof don't you think so?"

"How dare you do that. This is a violation of privacy."

"One this was accepted by the director and two why the hell is a terrorist saying something like that? Oh and that was not everything. We also have a testimony of the director that two of the following – The leader of the DC, the president of the SC and the vice president of the SC – have the same authority as the director if she is not present now. What were you saying little man?"

It soon erupted into a battle which only lasted a short time since we went as good as all out. Most of them were unconscious or were unable to continue the battle. Burned cut up and other crushed students laid there in front of us. We decided to take them to the dungeon of the DC hall and imprison them so that they could not escape.

"Now let us get reinforcement from fellow students."
