Arthur Pov:

I am currently in a garden just waiting until my next class starts. I use my dimensional ring and take out my notebook. In there I wrote down the stages where all my students are at. Currently most are not even close to achieving what I want of them but they did the first step unconscious. They connected the parts of mana at one point and strengthened that part. The other point is to concentrate it on one point and therefore create a stronger concentration of mana. So that they learn to only use mana very precise and without waste. Plus if they realize that without much work they can overpower a stronger opponent. By concentrating their attack on one point their counter is far stronger.

"Is this place free?"

"No of course not. It is occupied" I said in a playful mannerism.

"Was that a joke my rival?"

'Wait Feyfey is also here but why?' "Yes it was. Now sit down you two. You are not just here to look at the greenery are you?"

"No we aren't we are here to ask you for your goal. It might be possible for augmenters to use long range attacks but I never heard of conjurers augmenting their bodies. So why do you believe tat it is possible? And what is your end goal?"

"Calm down Kathlyn. I know that it is possible because there is no real difference between augmenters and conjurers. It is just that we use mana different since our awakening and also have a bit of a difference in our mana channels. But in the end we all use the same mana and the same techniques. As for what I want to achieve is nothing grandiose. I just want to show them what mages can and should do. You use mana very crudely. You have to understand the phenomenon and want to create it by using the components. And the thing that is even worse is that conjurers are seen as superior to augmenters. What do you do if an attack comes close? Do you parry it? With what? A sword without mana. Yeah that is not going to do anything against an attack on the battlefield. Now I have already said too much. I have to go to my next class in some time so please let my brain rest a bit before that crazy old man tries to cut it open."

At this both looked at each other obviously not getting at what I was hinting but still giving myself some space to think for myself. They talked with each other about my class and about possible ways to use their spells and what the problem might be. To be honest I just wanted them to think for themselves and not just repeating what was said to them.

Now it is time for me to go. Even though I don't get a sunburn I still cooled of in the shadow for some time before walking through the long corridor while preparing myself for the unavoidable. Artificer Gideon.

Cecilia Pov:

I have just finished my history class about Dicathen and how some good for nothing found out about magic and how to use it. 'I know that this is a lie. First the Djinn a human race was able to utilise mana and also aether. And then the Asuras killed them. And at the end they gave the weak and incompetent humans, elves and dwarves each two artifacts to appease them and help them learn how to use mana themselves. I am still confused how they just accepted it and changed history so willingly. After all they could be the next ones. They could be massacred by them any time. Why did they not leave something for the future generation to remember them? A possible answer that I don't want to think about would be that there were no royal families at that time. And that they were just influential families that decided to help the Asuras kill the Djinn and sweep it under the carpet. What if they were also responsible for the massacre? What if they also accepted the Asuras demands and helped separate the races from each other so that if there were any survivors they could not regroup. We know that emitters and diviners are descendants of the Djinn but what if they were hunted down at first before the royal families realized emitters and diviners are useful and kept them alive, while Djinn with the Spatium gene were exterminated. Because they could unite the surviving Djinn and get back what is rightfully theirs. These thoughts scare me. We know much but not everything and what if the Asuras use such information to pit our allies against us? Last time that could not happen because we had no allies anymore except ourselves. We can also not ask mom because she wasn't born then. She just knows what happens through the recordings but not much more and Arthur just knows everything from the sight of the Djinn, we are lacking critical information. '
