Chapter 18 Searching for dungeons

Sylvia Pov:

After we were all official adventurers we went immediately to the beast glades. To be honest I don't want those poor children to do everything on their own. In their past lives they had to fight and fight just to survive. In this live nothing was different I would even say that it is worse. They have each other but their parents hate them even though it wasn't their fault to be born in this world. If Agrona didn't reincarnate them in the first place they could have rested for eternity. They survived and wanted to make everything right but can't tell anyone because their enemies might go after their loved ones. I just hope that I can be a shoulder to lean on. I will be the mother that they deserve and carry my part of the burden. I will teach them, love them and help them in general.

We are currently in the beast glades searching for a place to create our housing. With Nico's and Arthur's metal magic the ground can be fortified and the wall can be created with earth magic. After that everything will be fixated with runes that keep enough magic pouring through it. It seems that the ancient mages used such a way to build their homes and Arthur as a descendent has learnt several techniques that he teaches us.

They are also talking about creating the wall. I didn't know about it but it seems like the humans created some sort of wall to block the monsters from the beast glades. Nico and Arthur intend to create it earlier and sturdier then before. I don't think it is a bad idea since they would first create several homes in the beast glades to try it out and creative activities are better than destructive ones. Arthur also spoke about installing gates in the wall and their laboratory. Let's just hope those boys also spend some quality time with each other as friends and not just as allies in war.

To sum it up they will create seven outposts in the beast glades, the wall and even tunnels and portals to get from one destination to another. But for now they intend to just create housing for us. To be honest their blueprints are very easy to understand while also being detailed. For one there is a Living room, a basement, four sleeping chambers and several other rooms that serve some kind of purpose.

After one week or maybe even two we have began to feel at home. We have a little garden that Cecilia is taking care of and we also go hunting. Normally we wouldn't need to eat much but with the spices that only grow in terrains with a high mana dancetty we have an abundant of it. During the day we train more on their forms and magic. Arthur has not yet mastered realm heart which is understandable since realm heart shows all runes at once and he is the only one that can use all three branches or trees of aether including fate. His realm heart looks like three trees that originate from his spine. His Spatium is showing on his lower body, his Aevum on his arms and shoulders while his Vivum is on his head and upper body. And since there are so many different runes parts it looks loke trees that originate from the spine and the branches divide over and over again to form a strange form. I am also trying to teach him a lower form of his realm hears since my father might realise that he is my son and if he uses his realm heart in front of him my father might get frightened and intends to kill him. We intended to show only the Spatium runes.

Nico and Cecilia are working on their asuran forms while also strengthen their bodies in a similar way to realm heart. It looks hard but since they have not reached the integration stage they cant use their clans mana arts. When I am on the topic what kind of mana arts will they learn Cecilia has all mana affinities Nico is a quadra elemental with all Vritra magic and Arthur is a hybrid of three powerful lineages. Well only time will tell.

Two month time skip

We are living in this house since about two and a half month. Their cores haven't made significant progress but that seems to be Arthurs doing since it would be to bad if they get everything served on a silver tablet. Their mana control and forms have improved greatly. Sylvie also got her human form and is doted on by her three older siblings. They also created a armour for her which is black with white additions. Her armour also shields her horns since Arthur as the overprotective elder brother feared they might break. Since she has got a human form she has been trained in sword fighting by Arthur, in mana cancelling by Cecilia, in pure mana manipulation by me, in aether guiding by Arthur and in artificing by Nico. We play cards and train like always. The three geniuses are still trying to achieve their real asuran forms but don't get the hang of it. They are able to partially transform. Arthur got horns and wings that look like bats but with scales instead of leathery skin. Nico grows and has claws on his hands while his teeth get sharper and Cecilia has made no progress at all. Never the less it has just been as I hoped to. They have become closer then they ever were and have also created three hideouts in the beast glades not including our house. They have even made plans from where to where the wall will go and where the tunnels will go. Just last month Arthur teleported to the elven kingdom and asked to create a similar wall inside the Elshire forest since the Vritra might attack from the coast side. The queen was also informed about the wall that they will build and she gave the okay. But now we are on our way to our first dungeon. It won't be challenging but we still have to do our job as adventurers.
