Chapter 22 Xyrus academy entry ceremony

Cecilia Pov:

I am currently on my way back home with mom, aunt Alice and my two sisters. It is nice to see them like this again. In the original timeline I have had no family like this and I had no time to spend with miscellaneous tasks. Nico is going to Gideon and will give him the plans for the steam engine, while Arthur is bargaining with Windsom. Maybe they are finished with their tasks. But I do hop that the artifacts hide Arthur's asuran body and let him look like a human.

We are now in front of the mansion. I still have problems with this situation. It is not the size of the building since we have lived inside a castle, it is the stature that comes with the mansion. We are now all nobles and this does not sit right with me. We always wanted to live without having ties to any country or continent. Let's just hope that the future king wont be like Blaine or I will give up my status immediately. We are now in the living room chatting and waiting for the guys to arrive. Soon after Nico and dad arrive. Nico goes up to aunt Alice and Elli and gives them a necklace with a pinkish pendant. It was the phoenix pendant that can bring one to safety when they are in a dangerous situation. Soon after Arthur and Sylvie arrive as well it seems that everything went as planned. He gestured us to come with him. We went out in the garden to the training ground. There he gave us each a small ball like thingy that exuded a lot of mana. This must be the elixir of whom he has spoke about.

"Last time when I used it I had problems absorbing all the mana inside the elixir I think that shouldn't be a problem since we are asuras but I would still propose that we will use it one after the other. In that way the others can absorb the excess mana."
We agreed and Art began with his elixir. It was just as he expected. His core grew and grew in power cracking and getting through stage after the other. After the intake was finished and the core has stabilised more or less he was already in the middle of the white core stage. He was not even at the start of it but in the middle. The next was Nico. Art told me to absorb the excess if there is any and so I did. There was not much excess about the amount of a low S-class mana core. We waited for an hour for Nico's core to stabilize since he has no Regis or aether it was harder for him but he is still in the lower middle of his white core. About in the 30 to 40 percent. Last was I. I took it and did not think much about it since I am one of the best at manipulating mana. I ate it and felt my mana core grow. It was harder to control the enormous growth of the core. I have never felt something like this. It feels dangerous and at the same time nice. My core grew in power and I even left some mana slip that was smoothly absorbed by Nico. It seems we are even. My core stabilized fast so that I had near to no need for recovery.

One week time skip

Arthur Pov:

It has been one week since we came back home. We have spend this week preparing for school and spending as much time with the family as possible. It is nice having them around but we all miss mom. If she would be here then the picture would be complete. But that is not important right now. Lilia, Cecil, Nico and I are on our way to the entrance ceremony. We are all wearing our school uniforms. Cecil will get her student council uniform and Nico and I will get our disciplinary uniform in the near future. I don't know about Lilia but she might get something like us. Whatever the director has planed for her. I will go and ask her about the classes that I intend to give in the duration of our stay. For one I intend to train my friends and teach about beast wills and give the practical mana manipulation after I beat Geist. Nico and Cecil will help me in training my and hopefully their friends while they might also give their own classes. Cecil and I will take the artificing class. I take the PMM class. We will all take the Team-Fighting Mechanics class of professor Glory. We will also take classes for theories of mana and deviants and some other informative classes. All in all we have about half of the time school and half we are more or less free. Free if the training of friends and the SC and DC activities is not added in the equation.
