Chapter 39 Death to the traitors and partying gifts

Arthur Pov:

"What did you just say?"

"Ah good to see you too elder Windsom. I thought you were taking your time in getting here. Well you knocked out quite a few guards on your way but from someone of your stature I thought you would have been faster. And I gave you so much information and they are still alive?"

"I see. Windsom was not lying when he said you had I sharp tongue."

"Good day elder. What would be your name. My name is Arthur Leywin."

"Hm. My name is Aldir. Nico to meet you too little boy. I have to say it is quite impressive for someone as young as you to have reached that stage. It is even more surprising since you are a lesser."

"Thank you elder Aldir."

"I think I asked you a question. What did you just say?"

"I said that I would have expected them to be taken care of. After all I did so much and hoped the hindrance would be removed but they are still here. By the way what happened to Rahdeas?"

"He was killed by Vritra just as you expected. And just so I warned you. Keep your arrogant mouth shut when you meet my lord. Do you get it?"

"Yes sir. I won't disappoint you."

"Little brother who are these people." Aya asked with caution.

"Oh those are elders of asuran clans. I don't know from which clan but I know that they are elders from higher beings."

"We are indeed Asuras. You know us better under the term deities. Now that you know you can't act ignorant anymore so bow." At this everyone except me bowed. They looked at me like I was crazy but I just shrugged.

"Are they finally going to disappear?"

"Yes they are. Just be patient." At this Aldir appeared behind the dwarven royal family and used his attack to blow them away. I used my realm eyes to look at his magic in hopes of copying it but to no avail. The magic was too intricate. I deactivated my eyes so that Windsom did not realize it but it seems Aldir did realize it. Since all three eyes were open looking at me in shock. I just looked away acting as if I was bored.

"Brat" he said when appearing right before me. "What just happened with your eyes?"

"What do you mean elder?"

"They just became purple for a moment while I used my spell and when I looked at you they went back to normal."

"I have no idea what you mean. I am using illusions from time to time maybe I made an error in using mana and it changed my eyes to an other colour. I am sorry if I startled you."

"You did not use illusions right now. I would have felt the fluctuation."

"But I can use mana without creating fluctuations. Look" I then created an illusion while using mirage walk. This of course surprised him a lot since I just used a praised art of the Thyestes clan. I looked at them in the most innocent way possible hoping my bluff would not be seen through.

"You are something else." He then said and walked away. I had to supress letting out a sigh.

"So we were at the attack on Xyrus academy. We need to send the lances there as soon as possible. If we don't then students might die." Every councilmember looked at me. Then looked at the Asuras. The gestured them to continue and so they did. Mica and Varey were send there. They knew that more lances would just be overkill since Cecil and Nico were there. When they were gone I continued. To elaborate the current situation. I explained about the situation and told them to let Cynthia back into the council. I also told them that I have found an excellent replacement for the Greysunders and that it was elder Bhund. I then proceeded in explaining what I have done the entire time. I told them about the dungeons the camps and the many, many corrupted beasts. I also told them that I have found out how their magic worked and that I have found out from those information that there will be most likely an attack on Xyrus academy.

"Elder Windsom. I know that you want us to depart as soon as possible. Could you bring my family, the Helstea family and my two friends here. Because if I discus these topics with the council we will lose time."

"Hmmm. Okay you are right I will go and get them but I want you to have finished your business here when I return."

"Thank you for your understanding."

"Now then let me continue." I told them all about a few rings that I have for them. In one there are plans of the Alacryans. There are also political information and structural information. I have also added some guessing of strength of each retainer and Scythe that I could get my hand on. I also documented their way magic worked and what kind of abilities each one has. I then explained how they should battle the Scythes and Retainers and which tactics they should adapt. I also told them about the list of possible Daggers as I called them the equivalent of Retainers. I then continued to the plans of the walls and that there should be an other wall in Darv if it is save or at least around important places. I then told them what I had envisioned. I told them about the train that I planed to create and that artificer Gideon should be informed about this project. I also told them who should lead each wall or who could be a great leader figure and why I give those jobs to them. The talks went smoother than expected. I of course did not tell them about the magic cores and the beast wills. I will leave them in gramps hands along with the artifacts and information about hide outs. But one thing that I gave them were some alacryan Artifacts. Some kind of card that can work as a currency. A few tempest warps to be used for all and a device which can be used to communicate over long distances. And they have as many uses as long as the device doesn't break. I also gave them information about the mana beasts but not about my cured beasts. They will participate on the second part of the war. With those information came also the potion which will keep the corrupted beasts away. I also told them that they should use the retainer's body for the recreation of the potion since we suspect it has used some Vritra parts. Since the beasts were corrupted with the help of Vritra parts it makes sense that they would not attack someone that smells similar. After that the talks came to an end and my family arrived.

Our talk was not long but it hurt. We had to tell them that we will return or that we will at least try to return since we saw them as our real family and not the Asuras. They accepted our arguments and wished us the best of the best. They told us to get stronger as fast as possible, to which we told them about the arrangement that we will make with elder Virion. They were agape and could not believe that we had organised beast wills for them. Even for Elli and Lilia. We only laughed it of and told them that we would never leave them without something to occupy themselves.

We said our goodbyes once more and we went out to find, meet the people and talk about our most dreaded topic.

Author's note: Hi guys. I need some help and suggestions from you. I have over the last few weeks been rereading the original work as well as several fanfictions to get any idea how to do the war arc.

The only thing that I know is that the war and Alacrya arc will be duringthe same time. Meaning that I will switch from one continent to the other. Butshould I just finish the story. Since this time the powerful mages attackAgrona directly and then they will get rid of Kezess or should it be more of awar like Alacrya attack, Dicathen defends, Dicathen attack and then Alacryadefends. And when this is over Kezess gets killed in one swift battle (thispoint is none-negotiable).
