Chapter 4 Meeting Mother

Nico Pov:

Suddenly a voice spoke inside my head and it wasn't Arthur's, Cecilia's or Regis's. Before I could ask who that was Arthur spoke up.

'Hello Grandma Silvia' I heard Arthur's him saying.

'Grandma? No this person can't be related to Arthur but where have I heard that name. No not that name but Sylvie, could it be? Is that Sylvie's mother?'

'So, you know who I am but how? I have never met you.' She retorted in some way intrigued by us but also frightened.

'Don't worry grandma I will explain everything but let us first go to your stay. We are not with those that hunt you we want to help you. But you already know that since you realize what we are.' Suddenly Arthur turned to me and mountains to move. I follow since I guess that there is no other logical choice and Arthur has a plan or at least I hope so.

We walk during the day and sleep for a short few hour during the night since I still need it in comparison to Arthur who doesn't need sleep at all. After about three days we get to a wall made out of lots of rocks. Before I could ask why we are here Arthur starts moving again. He manoeuvres between the rocks like he does that every day. Is that a new aether ability or does he remember the path.

Sylvia Pov:

'What are those boys? One is obviously a Vritra but I get the feeling that he is like Agrona just stronger even if his mana core is not as developed. And the other one is even more frightening the aether follows his command neither the Indrath clan nor the Djinn could do something like that or at least so I have heard. But that wasn't everything his body is nearly like my baby's body half Indrath and half Vritra with something else.'

'I fear those two but somehow I get the feeling that they know me or at least the white haired one knows me. And I feel no animosity from them. Let's hear them out and even if I wanted to flee I doubt that the white boy would let me leave.'

'For each day they got closer and my anticipation grew stronger. The white haired came in my dwelling like it was his house, he knew every path perfectly.'

Arthur Pov:

'It is hard to stop my nervousness. This time I wont let you die Sylvia you will see her grow up and protect Sylvie.'

Finally we arrived and there she sat in her whole demon lord form.

"Hi Sylvia, I know that you have many questions and I will show you the answer."

At first she looked at me confused since I wont tell it to her but show her.

"There is an aether art with whom I can share my memories you just have to give me your hand."

Her face brightened in understanding and she gave me one of her clawed fingers. I used the technique that threesteps has shown me or used to show me how to use god step. I showed her not only the last timeline but started in our first live and showed her everything. The procedure was finished after some hours but she still needed some time in sorting out the information. Due to that I started a mental communication with Cecilia, Nico, Regis and me.

'So guys we will start now to learn the first technique of mana manipulation. It is important that we learn it now since it can only be learned when the body and the mana core is still underdeveloped. Our cores are already at light red and not far from the dark orange stage. For us this is undeveloped since our bodies are stronger and our souls are more potent but we have to start now.'

'Arthur how am I going to use magic? You have sealed my core haven't you?'

'No Cecilia I haven't I have just hidden our cores otherwise it wouldn't improve if I would have sealed it. You can still absorb mana into your core but you can't disperse it willingly. Of course if there is too much mana the seal will disperse it on its own. So the technique is called mana rotation. It allows us to absorb mana while moving. Try to move around and absorb the ambient mana in the atmosphere. It should now be easier for you Nico since you are also a quadra elemental.'
