Clay's POV!
Giggles can be heard through my phone speaker as i laugh along. Me and Cora were on call just asking each other random questions and god was her laugh cute.
"So, cats or dogs?" She asks
"Hmm, cats definitely. I just really like them."I answer as i scroll through my computer and she hums.
I was currently looking for something i could give to give Cora on her birthday. Which is on the 16th of february. It was currently the 1st now.
"Ok my turn. What is something you want to buy but you don't have the time to, you can't afford or you can't find it anywhere?"
"Ooh, tough one. But i would have to say...some new pastel acrylic paint and some posca markers. I just cant seem to find those two things in stores!" She rants
Bingo. Gift idea; acquired.
I quickly Search up some pastel acrylics and posca markers and put them in my cart. I can buy them later.
"What are you doing?" She asks
"Oh uh, just typing something out"
She hums at my answer and continues at crocheting.
"Hey do you wanna hang out today? Like just go to the coffee shop or something? We could walk." I say starting to get hopeful.
"Sure! I would love to. What time?"
"Are you free right now?"
"Yep!" She says, popping the P.
"Great, I'll pick you up in 15?" I ask confirming
"Ok!" We continue with the call and we eventually get ready. She was changing clothes in her bathroom as i was aswell. When she gets back we end the call and I walk to her house with my phone and wallet in hand.
As i arrive on her doorstep i knock and I waot a few seconds and April opens the door.
"Cora! Someone's here here for you!" She shouts.
"Okay I'll be right down!" She shouts back.
"Hey. I know your secret. Dont do anything stupid, okay? Cora is a great girl." April says in kind of a threatening way.
"Uh, I wouldn't think of hurting her."I reply
"Good, because her last relationship didn't-" she gets cut off by Cora running down the stairs.
"Im ready." She says as she arrives at the bottom of the stairs.
We bid our goodbye's to April and we walk to a new coffe shop that opened called 'buntag' and i just hoped that no one would come up to us.
"So, your birthday is coming up." I say.
"Yeah, what about it?"
"Do you have anything planned?"
"Mmm, not really the three of is are just gonna bake a cake and hang out. You're welcome to join if you want!"
"Thanks, i will definitely be there, star."
"Star?"
"Yeah, cuz ur middle name is bituin."
"How did you know that though? I never told you."
"I-uh, searched it up. I know ot sounds weird but i did, so."
She hums back in response. Something i noticed about her is that when she finds something out she hums. I think its cute.
We walk into the coffee and is instantly met with the sound of people chattering and the smell of pastries and coffee, obviously.
We walk to the counter and we look at the menu.
"What do you think you're gonna get?" I ask
"I was thinking maybe a strawberry muffin and a latte." She answers "how about you?"
"Just a sandwich and a frappuccino."
