XVI: Ask and You Shall Receive

I woke up in a bed. Not my bed, Clay's bed.

I immediately sit up and look at Clay, on his phone. Realizing i just fell asleep in his bed.

"Good Morning." He says.

"Good Morning."

"You okay?" He asks with a morning voice.

"What happened yesterday, exactly?"

"Well, we kissed, and i drove you to my house and slept over. Don't let it get to your head." He teased.

"Yeah yeah."

I lie back down and cuddle with him and grab my phone to scroll on.

A little later, we eventually get up and head downstairs to eat breakfast.

We head to the kitchen, i sit down and he starts cooking.

"Wow, dream can cook?"

"Kind of, i can cook snacks and breakfast food."

I hum. I look at my phone to check the time. 8 am.

While he was cooking, i took the time to think to myself what happened and how i wanna approach this.

So we kissed. Big deal. What are we? Are we official? What? No! He hasn't even asked me to be his girlfriend yet-or to be my boyfriend! Should i ask him? Maybe i should. But what if he ends up to be just like derick and starts to-

My thought only get cut off when Clay places the plates on the counter and i feel fur on my legs as he sits down next to me.

I look down to see patches in all her glory.

"Oh, Patches!" I grin. I lean down to pet her, not wanting fur to get on the counter.

She purrs and settles into my hand.

"She likes you. It took weeks for her to get used to Nick and George." He chuckles.

I chuckle back and stand up to wash mt hands. (hygiene duh.)

I sit back down and we start eating. The curiousity getting to me, i ask;

"What are we?"

Silence.

"What do you wanna be?"

"I don't know."

"Well, can I be your boyfriend?"

My eyes widened, processing what he said.

"You don't have to answer now, im not rushing you in any way. Its just that you asked and-"

"Yes Clay. You can be my boyfriend." I cut him off.

"Wait, really?"

"Yes Really idiot."

He pulled me in for a passionate kiss before i place my hands on his jaw. We smile into the kiss.

"Get a room lovebirds"

We pull away from the kiss instantly and look over to the stairs to see Nick standing there in his pajamas.

I look back over to see Clay and my phone starts ringing with thousands of messages from April and Precious. Thats when i remember;

I forgot to tell April and Precious where i was going.

"Shit."

we went to see the little mermaid i few days ago. ARIELS HAND IS SO CREEPY.

but sorry for the lack of updates this week!! Ive been having wrtiters block and been really busy with school.
